yeah installing a french drain is not something I want to mess with, if done wrong it can be a big snowball effect.. but the drywall and flooring and such, I will tackle..

lol I'm not saying I'll pay the 20, I'm gonna probly have them do the actual drain and pump install and the rest myself.. then theres a lifetime guarantee that I dont get water and thats transferable to the next owner and so on..

yeah I'm def gonna have to finance it and will have to pay someone to do it..

we had a department drill at the DPW today.. fully smoked out.. good times..

we are still going to have a couple more quotes.. but I think we will just get the french drain and sump pump installed and try to do the rest ourselves.. which would make it around $6k for them to do that stuff.. a buddy of mine (who used this company) said he got his dehumidifier for around $300 or so and did the ductwork himself.. he also said I could use reg sheetrock (well the kind with moisture and mold resistance) for roughly $8 a sheet.. so maybe get the whole problem corrected along with my basement going back to the way it was for hopefully 10k or less.. theres still a lot we need to figure out.. also need to try and get a decent loan from a bank to help us out..

yeah I would love to have Mike Holmes come fix everything.. unfortunately he pretty much only does Canukland..

HAPPY EASTER woke up at 8, went to FH to wrap up selling plants.. then went to my bro-in-law's for breakfast, took Bandit, oh and the Wife too.. came home, posted this.. going to Positano's around 4 with the in-laws..

I didnt spend it.. I got an estimate.. I do not want to spend it.. I also do not want water in my basement as it is a finished basement.. more estimates this week..

this morning I got an estimate to repair my basement, $20k then showered and went to the Cemetery with my wife so she could visit her Grandparents.. then went to the FH for a little for Easter Plants.. came home, ate Chinese.. Posted this

this just gets better.. I just had an estimate to fix my water issues in the basement.. french drains will be installed (and all the stuff needed to make it function).. all of the drywall cut about 4 feet up.. missing drywall replaced with non-organic material and metal studs.. walls in laundry room framed with metal studs walls have non organic material, all flooring in the basement covered with basement tiles that have a vapor barrier.. $19xxx.xx what the heck!

I appreciate the willingness.. as far as shipping the plants, theres too many things that could go wrong.. I'm sure the plants wouldn't make it there in one piece.. from what they're telling me, we usually do very well and sell out.. (I wasn't in this town for Easter last year)

crazy.. IIRC my rhinos were 30-40 when I got them years ago.. they arent that wide tho.. and they're practically useless on the G8 anyways, even when I got it on them, still couldnt get under the car..
