New member here. Kind of new to detailing cars. Have a new GMC Yukon Denali and want to keep it protected forever the right way. Really like what I see with Adams Polishes compared to other products. All the videos are super helpful. Really looking forward to detailing.

Welcome Michael! Adams has products for every duty you need to do. Check out the waxes and coatings if you want to protect your vehicles for a longer period of time! Welcome welcome!!

He’s out of gallons right now but I’ve got my order in for a gallon & bottle also! Hopefully he gets another shipment in next week.

I’m doing a Jeep Wrangler detail today and if he’s got rubber Mat’s I’ll take pics of before and after for rubber mat cleaner. It almost leaves some shine to them too

Wouldn’t want them slick at all so I’m at a loss for what to use on my dirty floor mats.  Interior detail spray isn’t strong enough and I think I even used APC, still wouldn’t clean them.

    Suggestions?

You should hit up Detail Giant. get some rubber mat cleaner. Stuff works so much better than TRC i love it. bought a gallon and a 16 ounce

My truck has fabric liners up front and I absolutely hate them. I have seen people take them out, clean them really well and then apply smooth bedliner material to them with great success. I may do the same in the next few months. I have used my undercarriage spray on them though and it wasn't very effective because it almost absorbs into them it seems.

That sounds like a lot work. But if it end up working well you should let us know!

Iron Remover > Visco Clay > Glass Sealant > Ceramic Boost.  I don't have any of my detailing tools with me so the wheel-wells and tires will still need to be properly cleaned at some point, but this will do for now.

I don't know if it's visible in the pictures, but the trim on the roof-bars and around the rear window needs some attention, too.  Whatever the dealership put on streaked like hell so it will need some T&RC, Trim Restorer and possibly Trim Coating if I can talk myself into it.  I didn't get much color change with the Iron Remover, I used an entire 16oz bottle and it didn't seem anywhere near as powerful as other decon-sprays I've used.  I suppose it's possible that there wasn't much Iron for it to Remove, but I highly doubt it.  Everyone knows how Visco Clay and Glass Sealant work, I won't go into that.

Now the Ceramic Boost?  Wow.  Just wow.  It's not quite as easy to apply as H2O G&G, but the gloss, depth and "slickness" the 'Boost adds definitely bests H2O G&G.  I'm hoping to get a month out of it before I reapply and I don't think that will be a problem at all.  If you want an idea of just how "slick" feeling it is, my wedding ring no longer stays on my finger

Looks great! I love this car. So agressive and mean looking. Job well done!

Nice!!! it will be a great addition to the detail arsenal for sure!!

Jealous man, I wish I could just go up to the warehouse...  that would be very dangerous though and my wife would divorce me if I could haha!

It is dangerous.. I was going every Friday since august but i decided like two weeks ago that i should probably wait and hold off till black friday! So thats my plan for now!

He uses chemical guys citrus wash red, it’s a good stripping shampoo but they stopped selling it a little while back and he bought the last few drums. He is working on making his own formula of citrus decon wash now that’s purple!

I knew it was CG but didn’t don’t jmow how well it worked. Thanks Wyatt!

Just did a small winter prep on my Mazda Miata this past weekend.

I plan on ceramic coating my winter wheels before I put them on to experiment with different coatings. For now, I just did the paint/body work.

    My process was this -

Wheels done with wheel cleaner & soap/water mixture

    Tires scrubbed with degreaser

    Fender wells sprayed with degreaser

    Tires dressed with Tire Shine

Paint pre-rinsed to get heavier dirt off

Paint then pre-soaked with degreaser diluted 5:1 to break down any remaining wax/traffic film

Wash car with a rinseless wash and use a paint prep as a "drying aid" to ensure a clean panel

Apply paint sealant - buff off after 30 minutes of sitting.

Windows cleaned with rinseless wash/glass cleaner/paint prep

Rain-X applied to windshield - Paint sealant applied to side windows and rear window.

Plastic trim dressed with trim dressing

Come Spring time I plan on applying ceramic coating to the entire vehicle including the plastic trim. I've seen a lot of people say it is hard to get a white care to "pop" or "glow" but as long as your paint is clean and flat, you will have some nice shine & gloss. I maintain my car all year long and do not let it get bad. It gets clayed twice a year and iron remover 3-4 times a year (I live 50 feet from a set of train tracks). Here's a few pictures.

Don't mind that sticker on the windshield, I scraped that and cleaned/sealed that area after I took those pictures.

Looks great!!! I am curious how well it will do in NY snow though...? you’ll have to let us know!!

2017 Silverado Z71 hood while driving (I didn’t take the pictures?).  I couldn’t resist and these are through the windshield, if you couldn’t tell.  I haven’t seen beading like this before the CB

Garage kept. Full detail including clay, sealant, and Americana this spring.  Ceramic boosted clean paint about 2 weeks before these pics.  All Adams goods.  Detail spray in between, no washing.

My favorite part about beads is when you turn your car on after it parked and drive off and then hit the breaks and the water from the roof all comes down on the windshield and runs right off

  10. I am curious to know if anyone here has ever used Matt Morman's Citrus decontamination wash. If so what are your thoughts? How well does it work? Is it worth trying out? How much does it cost? I  know thats a lot of questions but he just made an instagram post saying he's got more in stock here soon so I was wondering if anyone can give me their thoughts!
