  1. Thanks Tony ,it was in the low 70's and I primed with DS. The pads are foam. Oh I did go down to 4, same result. Its a mystery
  2. Pads were immaculate and the humidity was 84%. Thanks for answering in the past there would have been a lot of responses. I guess drying polish isn't a sexy topic.
  3. I am starting to experience something new that I need help with. I am using the Flex polisher along with SHR and FMP. I use the smooth orange pad as well as the smooth white pad. I subscribe to less is more so the correct amount of polish and I prime the pads. Unfortunately I have to polish outdoors but today was cloudy and cool. In less that one pass, in a correct amount of area, the pad started to grab and the polish immediately dried on the paint, proceeding just started to mar the finish. No matter how much Detail spray I used the polish had absolutely no working time and it was a bear to gt off the car. The polish went from pad to dry never Vaseline . I have been doing this a long time so I know about speed, priming etc. The only thing I am wondering is if the polish I am using is too old, being cheap it is probably from 2011 although it i well stored. Any other suggesting why both polishes are drying so quickly? Thanks

  16. Yeah I thought about wiping down a car with dust on it. I live on a hill with wind, usually my cars are dusted about a half hour after I do my wash. I have come to make peace with this situation though and realize the process gives me the pleasure not that my car will look good at the end of the day. No garage so... Don't think I used to much wax and spread it pretty thin. Although, while polishing with the Flex the polish drys almost immediately so I use a lot of Detail Spray and the polish does not seem to go to far so there may be a bit to much polish. Being a mizzer I am still using Machine Super Wax.
  17. Makes sense but is it possible to just let what is on the car dry longer then off with a towel?
