  1. Went on a short drive, 4,750 miles to be exact, down to the Bondurant racing school for a free fun filled day at the track learning how to drive & then on to San Diego and up the coast to San Francisco and home. Ran her hot and hard & did not take it easy, getting a new windshield in the morning as this one was toast the 1st 500 miles...... Anyway....looking for some shortcuts, I've had multiple back surgeries, lots of metal, can't bend/twist and other crap that make it hard to detail the whip.....and on the road it get's even worse...sometimes I'm not physically able to actually wash it and wiping down with H20G&G after a touch free car wash is all I can do. Used a foam gun, couple buckets, brushes, wheel cleaner (they were black from the brakes) tire cleaner and then H20G&G, no wax, no polish or anything and this is how she looks.... Have not attacked the interior yet....... Have another 2.5K mile road trip coming up in a couple weeks, will get home & then turn and burn on yet another 4k mile road trip to Pittsburgh/Gettysburg and back before the snow starts to fall.... Ideas/tips/tricks on how get the best results using the least effort.......
  2. Is there something we can mix up to spray the crap out of the front end of the car with to help soften/dissolve bug guts before washing the car? We just finished up a 5k mile road trip and ugh, the bug guts were rather bad to say the least......
  3. We have a Premium Foam Gun with average water pressure, not real strong, but not wimpy with a purple foam screw in thing & have been using the standard Car Shampoo in it, it's ok, but nothing special and was wondering if you would see any benefits using the Ultra Foam Shampoo.
  4. Stick with the 19, check out the Gen 5 19's......or the 19x.......
  5. Brownells sure has changed from their original location.....stopped into the new location and was floored.... Had to go get a few Maid Rites then to recover from how the little place has grown......
  6. But is it a "real" one......
  7. Forgotten about that place, yet we love the pizza at night.....and now I'm starving..... Need to hit Jack Quinn's for some muzik and Corned Beef and Cabbage.....
  8. How do you like this seat? I've had 3 fusions & other issues and my fat *** can't bend/twist worth a crap & need some kind of seat so I can wash wheels with and such, otherwise its off to the car wash....
  9. How do you keep track of what cloth is recommended to what product & then to the laundry and back into use..... It's like every chemical has 2-3 different wipe/rags products that are recommended..... How in the world do you keep it straight and then launder them & store so many different rags.......
  10. Will be going to this little place called Bethel Park, I lived in Brookline in the 70's and have not had a real Primanti Brothers since 70 or 80.......
  11. Have not been to DC since 79 & have a brother from another mother who was stationed there with AF-1 and been told lots of stories & have another brother from another mother who's retired Tacoma Park PD & lives on some river a hop skip and jump from there. 2 of my old troops are working for a federal agency there & live in WV, so we have some great tour guides to all the seedy places LOL.....JBA was the cheapest so we jumped o it enabling us to stay a couple weeks & really get to play tourist and catch up with brothers....

  13. We are going across South West US in a couple weeks to Tuscon AZ, up to Chandler, across to Vegas and then out East to DC area. Don't have tons of room in the car & looking for the "best" ideas and products to take with us to keep the car as clean as possible. Space is at a premium, no room for a 5 gallon bucket & a mess of brushes, products and such, need to think minimalist but want the car to be clean and sparkle. Ideas on what products to take, how best to keep he car clean and shiny?
  14. Was just exposed to Adam and his products at a Horsepower Therapy event at Adam Polishes in Denver, had no idea washing and cleaning your whip & keeping her looking great was such a process or that it could be fun & therapeutic at the same time.
