I attended the Grand Opening this past weekend. What a blast! During the day, I was pleasantly surprised to receive some gift cards from Adam as a thank you to veterans.

So to @Adam and his entire team, I also want to say THANK YOU! Your focus on the customer is what makes you such a special company, and why I will continue to be a patron for a long, long time.

The more I tread through the forums. The more great stories I read about this company. It truly is a great bunch of people.

I had a chance to use this product and at the bare minimum, its nothing short of impressive. The warm, soft glow it creates, rivals that of natural products such as my P21S and my high-end $1K estate waxes by Zymol (Concurs, Destiny & Atlantique).

I washed, dried, clayed, and then polished with Wolfgang 3.0 and white pad at speed 5. My finish was excellent to start, but wanted to start from scratch. I took the OP's recommendation and waited anywhere from 12-24 hrs between coats. The more coats I applied, the more impeccable the finish became.

Like any product, new or old, you have to be an investigator. I tried everything, laid on super thin, laid on thick. Wiped instantly, wiped until impossible to come off. Tried numerous brands of high-end MF towels, both dry and prepped with QD. In the end, I found the middle way which worked the best.

The packaging is great, glass jar with a very tight sealing cover. The smell is lime, not too weak, not too strong.

I attached some pictures, tri-white is not that impressive, but still gives you and idea.

Don't plan on running out of this soon, however, I would easily pull the trigger again.

Other products on this car are Adams banana tire dressing and in & out spray.

This white looks so good. Excited to try and make my white car pop like that.

I am really impressed with the new Adams Paste Wax! I tried it out on our daily driven 2017 Ram 1500. I did a full correction and applied Adams Ceramic Paint Coating back in March. I've applied Adams Ceramic Boost several times since. I like the boost but also enjoy waxing so I was glad this product was released.

Applying was super easy and a little goes a long way! I did one panel at a time and had no issues with removal. I do not know what the scent is but I like it!

The Ceramic Paste Wax comes with a foam applicator.

It’s good see the results and your write up. I have been toying with giving it a try.  I think I may just place an order for it soon.

If you drop a piece of clay, you could “down-grade” it. Use it for the inside of the wheels or something that you aren’t concerned with fine scratching. That’s why it’s always a good rule to never use an entire bar at once. Split it into halves or quarters depending on what using it for.

That’s a good thought to split in half, to one make it last and also but just in case like you were saying.

So I will throw out there I asked the "what to do with dropped clay" of Adam during a clinic one time. He actually said the Visco clay would be fine to keep using. I was surprised, and it's certainly possible one of misunderstood the other, but thought I'd mention it to see if anyone had heard something similar.

That’s interesting, you would think it’s not much different than older standard clays.

I want to point out and reiterate a statement Chris made - If you drop it, replace it - don't use it, especially if you have sand like we do in South Carolina.  Someone, who shall remain nameless, dropped it in sand and before the brain engaged, had ran it over half the trunk of a car.  Then the Oh "Adjective" hit and the person realized what he'd done - it took him 3 times as long to correct that half a trunk than it did to get out a new clay bar and do the rest of the car.

I appreciate the warnings. I really don’t want to cause unnecessary work.  I had heard some horror stories in the past.

No way to clean the Visco clay, you just keep stretching and folding it in on itself. According to the Visco product site, the Visco clay will last for dozens of vehicles, less for heavily contaminated cars. When it starts feeling tacky, probably about time to replace it. If it drops, it's a general rule you should also replace it (may have picked up something you can't see in the clay...but will see the swirls from later).

The clay mitt is advertised to be used 20-40 times and can easily be rinsed with water during or after use. Super easy to use, it speeds things up dramatically. I love it. The trade off is increased potential for marring, so a polish will likely be needed afterwards.

That’s a lot of good knowledge, thank you very much I really appreciate it

I use 303 Fabric Guard on my fabric top.  I don't spray it on, use a foam roller.  Doing it that way I find I probably use more product, but get better coverage.  This is the stuff that Sunbrella endorses.  I've tried the CG's stuff and didn't like it at all and for me, the RaggTopp fabric protectant was in an aerosol can and I didn't feel like spending my time masking up the whole car to protect from overspray.

For a vinyl top you could try VRT or Leather Conditioner, but even Adam himself has recommended RaggTopp protectants for both vinyl and fabric tops.

Thanks guys for the response and options.  I was planning on picking up some VRT anyway so I may try it on the top. But I think a neighbor has used 303 with rollers, and it has done wonders.  I appreciate all of the answers and suggestions!

  10. Hi! I am Nick, I am from Maryland. I just started using Adams products this spring/summer, but have been detailing cars for quite some time. Starting to convert my entire detailing stable to Adams products. The addiction bit fast with some of the basic products, now I have to have it all!

Look forward to trading tips and chatting with everyone in the forums,

    Nick
