  1. If you are under 40 years of age (and I know you are) be bold; be daring; everything is on sale. You have plenty of time to take the risks that are often associated with HUGE gains in the long run......
  2. Thanks. I'm at work right now. Let me check over the weekend to see if I have any that are any good and I'll let you know. Thanks, again!!
  3. I'd love to share some but I really don't have any good ones and with the winter weather on it's way, they aren't looking as good as I like and besides all of that, I'm pretty much of a computer moron and don't really know how to get pictures in. For now, I'll just be washing the wheels when the weather permits, but come spring, I'll be giving them a good dose of MP 1 and MP 2 and Brilliant Spray Glaze. Maybe by then, my son can teach me how to get some good pictures. (Getting old sucks!!)
  4. I was considering chrome wheels, BUT, my Corvette is a daily driver except when there is snow on the road. However, I do drive it otherwise and in the winter it can collect some pretty heavy road grime and salt from the roads. Are chrome wheels a bad idea?? How would you protect them especially from road salt when it is too cold to wash??.
  5. My '05 Corvette has polished aluminum wheels. I have been using MP1 and MP 2 followed by Brilliant Spray Glaze. Does that make sense??
  6. What about Metal Polish 1 and Metal Polish 2?? Where would those products fit in??
  7. I have a 2005 Corvette, and have done it before, but never feel comfortable spraying the engine compartment with water. What are the risks??
  8. Thanks, Adam. As you know, my Corvette is an everyday driver and in the winter it gets dirty very easily and is hard to clean in the cold weather. Something like this would be great for a guy like me. Take care of the shirt and just to ease your mind, all is well in Hebron, KY. Hope to see you at Bloomington Gold next summer........
  9. Adam, I would rather buy fro you than anyone else and would love to see you guys come out with something like this.....
  10. Jason, are you familiar with this product from Griot's Garage?? Do you have anything similar?? We do a lot of road trips and something like this would be great when it is hard to find a car wash and you are just looking to get rid of some heavy road grime...... <TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD><TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD class=infoTabOn id=tab_01 onclick="setActiveTab('tab_01')" vAlign=top></TD><TD class=infoTabSpacer style="WIDTH: 100%"></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD><TD class=infoTabSpacer></TD></TR><TR><TD class=infoTabContent style="PADDING-RIGHT: 10px; PADDING-LEFT: 10px; PADDING-BOTTOM: 10px; PADDING-TOP: 10px" vAlign=top colSpan=2 height=150><TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width="100%"><TBODY><TR><TD class=default>Use Spray-On Car Wash to clean all surfaces of your vehicle such as paint, glass, fiberglass, vinyl, plastic (be very gentle when cleaning dirty plastic as it scratches easily), wheels, and rubber trim. You may use this cleaner on a wet or dry surface. The lubricious emulsions work to loosen and dissolve dirt, oil, greases, bird droppings and grime. In order to reduce the possibility of inducing scratches while cleaning it is important to follow these easy steps. Be especially careful on surfaces coated with mud, sand and soil. Work from the top down, saving the dirtiest portions of your vehicle for last. Work in small sections and do not allow product to dry on the vehicle. Wipe in a side-to-side motion and not in circles. Fold our soft micro fiber cloth into quarters. Spray a small amount onto the cloth and then spray a small section of your vehicle, coating the surface with a moderate quantity of Spray-On Car Wash. An extra spray on bird droppings is a good idea. Give the product 15 seconds to sit on the surface to lift the dirt before removing. Using our soft micro fiber cloth wipe the area very gently in one direction to remove the dirt using a wipe & lift motion. Turn the cloth frequently. Apply more Spray-On Car Wash if necessary. It is very important to be very gentle and not bear down with the first few wipes while removing the majority of surface dirt. Using a second, clean micro fiber cloth, lightly buff any remaining product from the surface. If necessary a light misting and buffing will bring out a nice shine. Turn your cloth frequently and always use a clean side of the cloth for the final buff. As your micro fiber cloth gets soiled, replace it with a new one and as often as necessary. Depending on how dirty your vehicle is, 3 to 4 cloths will be necessary. Micro fiber is machine washable for many years of use. You can follow up with our Paint Cleaning Clay, polishes, waxes or Sealants for a full detail. </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE> </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
  11. Jason, do you guys go to this one?? It's BIG..... http://www.route-66.org/
  12. Oh yeah. My son and I have gone for 15 of the last 16 years. We love it. Lots of Corvettes; lots of vendors, including Adam; and lots of good people. Where are you located??
  13. I think they normally draw 10-12,000 Corvettes, or more. I'm not real sure. You may find more information on their web-site. http://www.bloomingtongold.com
  14. I've been to several Corvette shows over the years, but Bloomington Gold has always, and still is, my favorite. It was good to meet you, Jason, last year and am already looking forward to 2009. That storm was wicked and was very weird. It seemed to come out of nowhere and was over before you knew it. At least you weren't the only ones with a mess. As you know, there was stuff strewn everywhere. At least no one got hurt and there was no car damage that I heard of. See you again in June!!
  15. I agree. I try to polish and wax mine monthly when the weather is good. Maybe some Brilliant Spray Glaze every other week with Detail Spray and washing as needed. Beyond that, I don't do too much. I mean, you have to leave some time in there to drive it!!
  16. I worked for 25 years in state government and then retired. After a few months, I started a new career with a well known Wall Street brokerage firm. I have been with them for 15 years and am retiring for good on 12/31/2008.
  17. Thanks, and that brings up another question, Jason. Is there a point to claying a vehicle that gets very little exposure to the elements??
