I know there are some photography buffs on this forum. Lets make this the good non-car picture thread. Any pics that you take that you are just amazed by or want to share put in here. I will add some of mine as I have time to go through them again. I will say my skills and equipment are not as good as some of the others on here but who cares. Lets see some pics.
Here is just one of mine. I took this in Egypt and was amazed at the level of detail in this pic.

Looks good.

It is, but didn't look near as good before the in & out spray. Also rained a few times this week, gets dirty fast!
I know I clean mine just about every time I wash the car. I never let it get too dirty then I do not need to do a full wash on it.

Not as fancy as lots posted here but here's mine
Cheater. Thats a new car.

Nice yard. You can always go for a swim in the bird bath. We had our first frost this morning. My hands actually froze riding my bike to class.

Very carefully!
(sorry I couldn't help it)
Oh a wise guy.

How do you move something like that?

Looks good.

Those gloves are nice, but you can still crush your finger.

April/May???? A little optimistic are we You're probably right, we'll get one of those teaser days in April
We will also get a couple of those 35 degree days in the dead of winter that feel like they are 75 because you are used to the cold. I love those.

Nice Rhino, even nicer garage.

Roger that. Thanks for clarifying too because I definitely was under the impression GWC was the stronger of the two. Consider me educated, well at least on that topic.
FFKING..most of my work will come with jacking and taking the tires off. I don't have jack stands so i'll have to jack up one wheel take it off clean it put it back on lower, the repeat 3 more times That'll probably all take me longer than the cleaning/scrubbing part.
Not to be a stickler but pick up some jack stands. you can get a decent set for 30 bucks and they are much safer. I have seen numerous accidents from guys who said I will just jack it up it will only take a minute. My buddy lost part of his thumb and I see guys drop cars almost every weekend at the track when not using stands.

Good for you! As for me, I'm not convinced all that Corvette hp and a snowy/slushy/salted roadway is a good combination...
I could see that issue. I imagine all that HP would be rough. I imagine it would put hair on your chest though.

Not for me. I drive my baby all year.

I do believe our Pontiacs have more power then those C5 vettes.

Getting rained on here as well. I cannot wait to wash my car again.

I see 2 V6 G8's here with different engine covers. (for some reason when I quote Chris's post, only the GTO pics show up here)
Are these different based on year, 08 vs 09?
I am pretty sure the 08 and 09 v6's had different engine covers.

I don't mean to thread jack, but this thread seems to have revealed what could be considered a statistical anomaly. So far, including my own, I've counted six G8s, while the only other repeated models are three Vettes, two Goats, and two Camaros. Now I consider the G8 a relatively rare car, having been made for only two years, while the Corvette has had a continuous production run of well over 50 years and has only half as many entries in this thread. I guess Adam's is just really popular in the G8 community percentage-wise, because in this thread we have the same amount of representation as all Chevrolets combined.
We just have the best looking cars. From any angle.

The engine is signed by Dave McClellan and Dave Hill, both noted Corvette engineers, Andy Pilgrim (driver for Corvette C5 race team), Big Daddy Don Garlits (top fuel drag racer and inventor of the first rear engine dragster) and Mario Andretti (got it last year so it's not in the pics).
I don't touch the covers. I drive with them on and don't clean them. I had tried to clear coat them, but when I tried it on a hidden spot it made the marker run. One of these days I'm going to retire them and hang them in the garage. But for now, they're a conversation piece.
Thanks for asking.
Rich have you thought about taking them off while you drive and putting them on at the show. I do that with my engine cover in my G8 sometimes.

Here we go and my car sees snow/salt and all other kinds of nastyness.
Epic Pic thread.

This is good guys here are a few more I have taken. Bonus Points if you can name the locations.
I have a few more I will post. If I am posting too many let me know, or if you just want more of a specific place let me know. I am open to any suggestions. I have plenty more animal pictures if you want them.
