  1. Sadly the g8 is gone now, I do miss it. I have a Ram ecodiesel and a ford focs now. Needed something that can pull a trailer and am driving about 40k miles a year so wanted some fuel efficiency. Hopefully I can get back into a sports car eventually. I am a fan of the SS, my brother has one of those and I like it.
  2. I am back, finally have the time I need to keep the cars detailed. I am looking forward to trying some of the newer products and hopefully getting a little more active on here. Hope everyone is doing well!
  3. It really is a piece of cake. I installed the whol thing in an hour and a half, and I took my time and soldered/heat shrinked every connection.
  4. Still for sale want to get rid of, make an offer.
  5. Back in the US. I still have this if someone is interested.
  6. I switched to the world of diesel power. I got a 2005 f250 crew cab. The sierra was just to small with the extended cab and I missed leather and heated seats. Once i get back into the country and get her all shined up I will add pictures.
  7. I have nit had any hits yet. It is still available. The only problem is I am out of the country until the middle of May for work so I would not be able to ship until then. Sorry for the delayed response.
  8. Looking good. What did you use on the wrap? As bad as it sounds we use pledge on our race cars because must things including detail spray (the old formula hazed the wraps)
  9. I had this in my 2012 sierra for about 3 months before I traded the truck in for a different one. This allows you to plug and play a new stereo into your newer GM vehicle. It retains steering wheel audio controls and warning chimes. It does not keep onstar functional. If installing a navigation system this also provides a tie in to the parking brake and reverse sensor wires. making this unit a true plug and play. I used it with a kenwood DNX-6180 navigation system and total install start to finish was under two hours. Below is a link to the unit on Pac-Audios website. I am not sure if I still have the instructions but they are on the website. Pac-Audio.com Product Details | iPod Integration for your car and More by Pac-Audio - Connecting you to the future The only difference between the pics on that website and my unit is I clipped the preamp ends off, per the directions because I did not have a factory system with an amplifier. The only other things you will need to install a new stereo in your car would be mounting kit and antenna adapter. I will send the adapter I had in my truck, but I am not sure if it is used in all GM vehicles. Any questions feel free to ask. Looking for $100 but am completely open to offers and trades for.....
  10. That case will be fine. Also the superperformance ammo is awesome. I love it.
  11. I actually just traded in my EXT cab for a crew tonight. So much for by Spring.
  12. I love the Down Sweater. They are great.
  13. Let me know how you like it as you get some more rounds through it. I am thinking of picking one up for a coyote gun. I will say I have a savage 116 in stainless and 7mm mag. I love it, but sometimes wish I had a 243 to go a little easier on the shoulder.
  14. I will say this in all honesty. I bought an extended cab NNBS GMC a couple months ago and am already wishing for more room. I will probably be trading it in for a crew cab by spring. I thought there would be enough room and for 10 minute or less trips there is but the rest of the time unless your passengers are tiny I do not think there is enough room.
  15. I have that exact same Sierra just in a different color. I love it and get 20+ MPG on the highway. I have seen 23 on the hour long drive to one of our offices if I behave and stay around 65.
  16. Geez, I don't post on here as much as I used to just don't have the time anymore. However Jim you will be missed my friend and I truly have tears in my eyes as I read this thread. I am always amazed at the great people I have come to know on this forum and Jim was truly one of the greats!
  17. Knipex is quality stuff. They are worth it. Besides I can buy from Germany. Some of the Craftsman tools are still made in the USA. However They are made by APEX tool group who is currently outsourcing more and more of their production. From what I have seen it is more of a APEX decision saying they cannot afford to build in the USA. However APEX was just acquired by Bain Capital so we shall see what happens. I bet the offshore trend will continue. The made in USA tools are completely made in the USA. Our steel mils run in the US with material purchased from the US!
  18. I got rid of my G8 and have not looked back. I thought I would miss it but so far I have not. Plus I could not do this in the G8. However I never got the G8 that dirty either. I am glad I have a four day weekend to clean her up. I got back from my yearly deer hunting long weekend. Had a blast and cant wait for next year already.

    New Handgun

Very Nice. I am picking up the XDm soon. A buddy of mine just picked up the XDS and it is a dream to shoot.
  21. I love my Ruger guns. I like my Mark II target model more then the 10/22 though. For a hand gun it is a tack driver.
  22. Congrats. That is a very nice House Dylan.
  23. Sorry I saved this picture years ago and have been waiting for a chance to use it. Not my cup of tea but it does look good. I have always wondered if the safety of the vehicle is compromised by modifying the doors though.
  24. Do it. I loved mine. The only reason I got rid of it was I was ready for a change.
