the most recent customer's truck was a very pleasant vehicle to deal with...interior wasnt bad at all and the paint was actually in good shape..it had just a few minor scratches here and there but nothing like ive dealt with in the past....the paint really looked nice after a 2 step polish...really liked how it changed color in different lights...enjoy exterior before interior before interior after exterior after

thanks!! thanks!!! i work 55 hours a week at my real job so how i normally do my details is have the customer drop the car off my last night on and spend anywhere from 2-4 hours on it depending on how bad the car is...i wake up the following morning at around 7 (nets me 5 hours of sleep usually) to continue to work on them which most of the time is 5-8 hours depending on size and how bad they are...this one took me a little while i would say close to 9 hours...never realized how much surface areas the G8's have until now i think he has learned that his best option is to just bring it back to me to wash it which was a smart decision for him and it will save me some work when i do my next correction on it

i had the owner come back today because the SVRT on the mirrors left that awesome streak of product down the door so i took care of that even though i wiped them down after i applied the product...well while i was fixing that issue we were discussing his paint before and after i worked on it and his washing technique which was one bucket, no grit gaurd, cheap towels, cheap wash mitt, dealer washes, and automatic car washes...after showing him all my products and processes i use to prevent swirling up a car he has decided to bring his car back to me every 2 weeks or so to have me wash his car and give it a little pick me up

those things are a pain to deal with most of the time lol...thanks! thanks!

finished up the latest customer today. this time around it was a base model Pontiac G8 in panther black. the inside wasn't too bad so there isnt a lot of pics of that but the exterior was in need of some love. the paint was pretty easy to correct for the most part just had to hit a few spots a second time to get some nasty swirls removed and a few scratches. probably got the paint to around 85% on average corrected. the customer didnt want the 3 step polish even though the results would have been worth it. on with the pics interior before exterior before interior after exterior after

any update on when the new banner may be coming out?

i bust my butt from start to finish and do it enough that i know how to get the most out of each step

this is the same owner that had the black Honda Pilot that was really beat up that i posted a few weeks back. he bought me his car this time which is his work car. it was in a lot better shape then his wifes overall but still needed some work on the interior and exterior. enjoy interior before exterior before interior after exterior after

Had a member on a Grand Prix board who was kind enough to make a new business card design for me along with changing some of the dimensions to allow me to make it into a banner for a garage....take a look at the new card and banner....now i just need the new one Adam's is coming out with to fill the empty space

thanks and yeah i know....it also gives me a little break since i am starting to get a little burnt out between work, detailing customers and my own cars, getting ready for the baby, etc.
