Have a photogenic vehicle for our marketing?
Tom in Tacoma replied to Team Adam's's topic in Company Info/Announcements
I came across this old Pic of the truck. It doesn't have any Adam's products in the picture but it's all over the truck! -
That's a classic! It's one that the wife and I have to stop channel surfing when we come across it. I know we have the DVD somewhere - I ought to dig it out and watch the whole thing again. My favorite line: "Emergency, Emergency. Everybody to get from street!"

Retired in 1994 after 20-years of service in the US Army. I would do it all over again. I had the honor of working for (then) LTC David H. Petraeus on the command staff of the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, KY. I truly believe he is the right man to get the job done. To my fellow vets (including the Navy guys ) I salute you!

...and now for something completely different! May I introduce [drumroll] Tom in Tacoma's Toyota Avalon!!!![/drumroll][applause] -
And here I thought we had something special... Please pass my thanks on to whomever was responsible for putting up the Veterans Day banner. That means alot.
-
You bet Ashley! (but I think that'd make Jason kinda jealous...)
-
OMG Jeff! That Gen 1 is incredible! I think you alone could keep Adam in business! I'll have to see that truck in person some day. I've always loved the Gen 1's (and the Gen 2's don't suck either!).
-
Wow Jeff! Long time indeed. You still drivin' that wicked Lightning? How 'bout you come spend some time with us at http://www.truckblog.com. I think you'd fit right in with the crew! Thanks for the comment about the Avalon. I gotta say I really like that car. Especially so now that I'm making the drive from DuPont into Bellevue everyday!

I don't invest in stocks directly but my 401k is down over 18% this year. Ouch!
-
And I've got stuff that's so old that the bottle label is all cracked and yellowed. I keep using those bottles and refill 'em as needed. I ought to post a pic of the old stuff. I still have a spray bottle of 'In & Out' spray!

I love it! Smooth ride, good power (268hp), great in the snow and rain, killer sound system, limo-class back seat leg room and the dang thing gets 30-mpg on a regular basis on 87-octane fuel! The trunk is massive as well. In the 44k-miles since new, it's only had regular services. No unscheduled trips to the dealer - zero problems! Honestly, I think the Avalon is some well-kept secret. I don't know why Toyota doesn't advertise these. In case you hadn't noticed, they never, ever, appear in TV commercials or print ads. Go make your wife happy - buy her one! (you can always 'borrow' it)

...is this thing even on?... Hellooooooo........
-
Of course it is - just like mine is...

Love those 40th Anniversary Editions! Mine's a laser red '00. Nice to 'meet' you!
-
Sweet ride! Love the red streaks on the hood.
