The other side of the towel is a low tight nap which is great for the final buff on glass - these are great for the people like me who did not like the prior generation glass towels as they would get damp too quick and get grabby on glass, especially inside windshields

Not sure if this is the right place for this issue. Think I picked up a plastic bag or some kind of plastic last time I was out riding my Harley. Adams to the rescue double oo steel wool and fine polish followed up by metal 1&2 Iam impressed with how well it cleaned up.

I've read many stories about bringing your car to a dealer telling them not  to wash your car.   I totally understand and agree with that.  Never thought I would have a similiar issue at a tire shop.  I brought my 69 Buick to the local Firestone where I have been many times before.  Although its been a few years.  Anyway I bought BFG Redlines for my 69 Buick online as they don't carry them.  I called made an appt as they said customers do this all the time.  They put the tires on which seemed to take forever.  At one point I asked when they would be done.  He said they are just torquing them down.   Another 30 mins goes by and finally my car is pulled around.  I paid and when I went out I was pretty upset.   They had dressed each tires with some sort of creamy greasy stuff.  It made the tire look wet and it was loaded on so much that it flinged on the car.  It was all stuck in between the tire and the rim.  They never even asked.   As soon as I got home I took a cheapo microfiber and wiped off the first layer then I hit it with APC and they cleaned up nice.   Never had them do that to other tires I brought there.  So something to think of if you bring your car in for tires.  Knowing what I know now in the future I will ask "please do not put any dressing on my tires"

I've used it on every wheel type I can get my hands one and haven't had any issues, including gloss black powdercoat.
 
From a technical standpoint the bristles on this brush are finer and more consistent, but they are a bit more rigid - so they hold their shape better. I wouldn't say its better or worse than boars hair in that respect.
 
The real reason for this over BH is its resistance to chemicals and its cost. The BHB used to cost roughly double of these and we found after the introduction of DWC that the fibers would gradually begin to curl over on themselves with repeated use. So a $40 brush that can't stand up to our most popular wheel cleaner just wasnt going to fly.

You can try the plush towels, but you'll likely see the cleaner smear around a lot. The reason we recommend the waffle is that style absorbs liquid better which is optimal for waterless

Blue tape.
 
I think Green "Frog" Tape or any tape with that edge protection is bad for automotive use. Can't remember where I seen or heard that though.

Correct.  Its the chemicals on the edge, any tape like that for painting.
 
3M Automotive Tape (green) or Rustoleum Automotive tape (orange) are both found at your local Wally World and are paint safe, as is the standard Blue painters tape.  Although I prefer automotive tape over Blue.

I've added an unused 16oz spray bottle of distilled water to my Adams small travel bag I use for my inteior gear.....just as a precaution. With the new car I just bought I'm initiation maxiumum safety precuations to keeping it 100% So what if it takes an extra 5-10 minutes.

Do it! The size of a wheel brush deserves to be as small as a tire brush! After all, the brushes are working in the same area. Not too often have I found a need to two-hand a wheel brush. Most wheels are delicate and a clean wheel is easily achivavable with Adams cleaners to where a brush with a long handle in my opiniong resorts one to heavy scrubbing which often times isn't required.

This was actually just recently asked in another thread. We have a prototype, so maybe.

As my contact in the tire industry explained when I asked a similar question:
 
"You'll need new tires because of tread wear long before it's something to worry about"
 
The anti-ozonant works it's way to the surface regardless of your frequency of cleaning, so in theory an uncleaned tire loses it at the same rate as one cleaned frequently if they're exposed to the same amount of air/water.

Put the Deep Clean brush thru its paces yesterday prepping some tires with a few prototype heavy duty rubber cleaners and a new tire product
 

 

 

 
Part of what I love is not only does it do a great job of really cleaning the sidwalls, unlike the fender brush it will release all that gunk when its done. I have fender brushes that nothing short of brake cleaner will get the buildup out of. Just a blast of water on the tire brush and its like new.
