It’s such a tough decision. I will add that I’ve tried almost every coating along the way, and for whatever reason, I’ve had much better (noticeable) luck in the looks/appearance department with the spray coatings vs the small bottle. Neither of which have blown me away (on just looks) like some waxes in past history.  BUT, the coatings just bead everything and clean up soooo nice. But for a weekend warrior, does that matter much?  1st world problems; the struggle is real.

I just recently started experimenting with the updated spray wax and G&G on top of my coated vehicles in search of the best look.  But after reading this, I’d sure be interested in trying the ceramic paste wax.  I’d probably even try Patriot if it wasn’t always sold out.

Have to agree with you, I almost would like to just use wax on it, but I really do like the added protection that the Graphene Ceramic coating gives. I will most likely end up using the Advanced Graphene Ceramic Coating (small Bottle) just for the protection.

  2. Thanks Ray and Rich, I like the idea of the wax, also but as Rich said no longer available. I really like the graphene finishes, cause after 2+ years on my

on one of my vehicles (put on when new) other than a couple of rock chips the car still looks better than new, and it is washed every couple of weeks, with no scratches or swirls. But since it will be indoors 95% of the time my thoughts are that the Graphene Spray on Coating should easily last 3-4 years, at which time I would probably want to polish it again before recoating it

  3. I just picked up a 2013 Boss 302 (Gotta have it Green).

Since it will be in hibernation I am going to give it a complete going over this winter.

The car will only be used in the some and then maybe 1 or 2 times a week.

Is it worth putting on Advanced Graphene Ceramic Coating

or would I be just as happy with the spray Graphene Coating.

Odd are I would be polishing it out again after 4-5 years would the spray on last that long with the car garaged 95% of the time.

Should also add I have enough of both to do the job, and time is not an issue

    Thanks

  4. While I like the idea of buying one less product, I would just miss the ww, to much. As mentioned above, it is great for windows, especially around here in bug season.

I use CS3 on my Rims after every wash, as well as on my daily driver that needs to get polished and coated again this year. (May use Graphene Cs3 after that)

I also have Graphene Cs3 that I use on my Graphene Advanced coated vehicle. Not sure I can see enough benefit from Graphene Cs3, but that said it does a great job, so I may convince myself it is worth the extra money.

Guess down sizing is gonna be tough.

Should also add that WW is just too handy around the house not to have. Great on our SS fridge, the shower, etc as well as the vehicles

  5. I am not a pro detailer and only do it as a hobby. But I would start by phoning around your area and see what others are charging for there services.

Since you're breaking into the business I would charge a little less than the competition to get things going. Once you get established and busy enough you could raise prices accordingly.

    Hope this helps.

Yes, humidity plays a big part in performance.  The trick is to use it SPARINGLY!  A little goes a LONG way.  And use TWO towels.  I know a lot of guys have issues with streaking that shows up on darker colored cars, but if you think about it, those streaks are on light colored cars too, they're just not that noticable.  But the two DRY towels work pretty well. I'm thinking of warming the wipe off towel as I use it.  Let it sit in the sun between wipes.  Can't hurt.

:iagree:I have never had any trouble with Ceramic Boost, I always use two towels.

CS3's cleaning properties and wet look after use is my preference.  I have found that when it is hot and I have to be in direct sun, Detail Spray is easier to work with.

I too am a huge fan of CS3, I like the ease of use and use it mainly as a drying agent after blowing excess water off the car. Graphene Detail spray works better for me on a fairly dry vehicle.

For a quick wash and dry I really like using regular detail spray after a quick wash and to use with a drying towel.

CS3 is incredible as a detail spray and all it's uses. Touch ups, drying aid I love it. I like trying all the other products except I have not got my hands on slick and slide. Honestly every time I make an order I think about it and don't get it as CS3 has no weakness. I also have the Graphene versions and the Graphene CS3 works the same as CS3 but has a better smell. It smells like Grape plums , it's really pleasant to work with. It really puts the gloss on your paint just as good and possibly better than CS3 does. But I have not done like 1/2 hood with both products which I might do just to see.

For the few dollars less, I'm totally happy with CS3 for the rest of my life. Graphene CS3 I only used a few times and as I have used it, I'm not overly impressed as CS3 is that good on it's own. it's smell is also pleasant so the Grape smell isn't enough to make me spend more money if it works the same otherwise. Time will tell I'm gonna run through a full 16 oz bottle of Graphene CS3 and then go back to CS3 and see if I miss it.

Would really like to see that comparison and your thoughts on the two.

Like you I like the CS3 that much that I am reluctant to change. Also curious if the Graphene CS3 would be worth the extra money.
