Just this morning - detail spray on my tool cabinet, interior cleaner on my computer mouse, and my mini air cannon to blow out vacuum cleaner filters. There are tons more uses, of course.

Thanks, Chris! That's a very useful video. I think I'll pick that up at the store here (luckily only a mile or so from home). I think for the light cleanup after driving 100 miles or so to a show, it may be just right. I'm always concerned about introducing scratches, so the foam aspect of this product gives me some peace of mind versus the alternatives.

Any new info on this? How does it compare to waterless wash in terms of effectiveness, ease of use, resulting look, etc.?

I'm looking for something to use when I travel to a show outside of my local area and the choice is down to these two products. Thanks in advance for any replies and experience!

Looks fantastic, Dan! I'm planning to use the same combination (BG/Americana) on my Corvette for a show this weekend. I'll post some pictures when done - hopefully it'll come close to your work!

To take a slightly different approach - consider polishing a test panel, see how it looks; compound and re-polish if necessary. You might like what you see enough to avoid or postpone the wet sanding for now. Orange peel isn't pretty to look at, but it hides a ton of minor day to day flaws. A good polish, working on your technique, maybe adding a small polisher for nooks and crannies to go with your large one - these might be a good first approach to the car. The Adam's 3" Swirl Killer (12mm Mini) has been a great addition for me in this regard.

Jimmy's Shelby looks spectacular, and also reflect a good deal of experience. If nothing else, I'd recommend getting some scrap body panels from a salvage yard to practice on.

Dino, for what it's worth, my approach on an unknown situation like this is to begin with the softest pad available and increase hardness only if that doesn't do the job (e.g. Adam's red pad, then white). I agree with Michael, though, that another regular polish should be OK assuming that when you got it it hadn't been previously polished/compounded as would appear to be the case.
