Graphene Ceramic Coating | FAQ's | Discussion
EPHIOS replied to Dan@Adams's question in Exterior Protection & Enhancement
Sorry for the confusion. I meant by diluting it to 1:1 I am hoping that the streaking will decrease. -

Can you dilute Graphene Detail Spray if you are getting some streaking with distilled water? -
Graphene Detail Spray - Frequency of Use
EPHIOS posted a question in Exterior Protection & Enhancement
I recently washed my car coated with GCSC (Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating) and followed it with GDS (Graphene Detail Spray). Is it ok to use GDS on weekly basis after wash? Will there any build-up overtime? -
Water spots on Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating
EPHIOS replied to EPHIOS's question in Paint Correction & Polishing
I was able to remove the waterspots using a light polish and polishing pad via 21mm Long Throw DA. I waited an entire day to ensure it does not come back. About an hour ago, I just placed a layer of Graphene Spray Coating. I just wanted to add the first time, I did this, I polished the paint using a Flex 3401 instead of a long throw DA. -

Water spots on Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating
EPHIOS replied to EPHIOS's question in Paint Correction & Polishing
I will be doing that on Saturday morning. Should I stay and just use a polish And slowly work on the top layer of the coating until I remove the water spots. Or use a compound to remove the layer quickly. I know, I know....You should always use the least aggressive method. -

Water spots on Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating
EPHIOS replied to EPHIOS's question in Paint Correction & Polishing
Since that I applied a second coat of Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating, technically is the water spots are in between the two layers? Just a side note, when I attempted the removal I had all my 6 LED Shop Lights on at 4000 lumens each. Maybe I should have gone and done 3 IPA wipe downs. -
Water spots on Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating
EPHIOS replied to EPHIOS's question in Paint Correction & Polishing
I would say its in the low 80s when the sprinkler turned on. I am not sure how I can get it to that temperature right now in Las Vegas. Its about 110 on average. -
Adams sk pro 15mm vs rupes , flex , griots etc
EPHIOS replied to JVB3's question in Paint Correction & Polishing
I have not used the SK Pro, but I did bought the Mini about two years ago. Despite some oil leakage from the polisher, it is still going strong. In terms of other polishers, I do have the Griots Boss G21 - smooth and powerful and Flex 3401 - powerful and versatile. I am actually considering buying a 15mm and the SK Pro is definately on my list. -
Water spots on Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating
EPHIOS posted a question in Paint Correction & Polishing
After installing Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating on my wife's Lexus, we went to a 4 day road trip. During that time we parked next to a sprinkler. Now, more than half of the hood is covered with water spots and the entire front bumper. I have used a Griots Perfecting Polish and Fast Correcting Cream on a LC polishing pad with Flex 3401. At first, I thought I removed them, they were not visible. I even used an IPA wipe down to ensure no polish is covering them. So, I reapplied another coat of Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating. After a day, I went to check the hood again, and the water spots came back. What? Any suggestions? I do not want to use a compound again because of the risk of the clear coat getting too thin. -
Graphene Detail Spray - Black Specks/Sediments
EPHIOS replied to EPHIOS's question in Exterior Protection & Enhancement
Tried the same. The black specks remains, does not dissolve. -

Recently received my Graphene Detail Spray, and noticed that it had some black specks/sediments. Is this normal? I am guessing these are the graphene? Thank you. -

Graphene Spray Coating: Shelf Life
EPHIOS replied to EPHIOS's question in Exterior Protection & Enhancement
Is that both opened and unopened? Also, is there a reason why it came with two sprayer? Maybe it can clog-up overtime? Thanks. -
Got an amazing results after the application of Graphene Spray Coating. What are the shelf life of an unopened bottle and opened (with original cap on)? Thank you.

how much soap do you put in the foam gun
EPHIOS replied to pogipogi's question in Washing, Drying, and Decontamination
I use 4-5oz of Adams Car Shampoo RED, and fill the rest with warm water. I have not used my foam guns in nearly 6 months, I just enjoy using my foam cannon. Currenly, I use it to give my dogs baths. -
Foam Cannon and Gas Power Washer Connection ?
EPHIOS replied to plind's question in Washing, Drying, and Decontamination
Most of the pressure washer that came out on recent years, especially gas-powered with come with 1/4” female quick-connect at the end of the gun/lance. Adams Foam Cannon comes standard with 1/4” male quick-connect. You should be good. -
Detail Spray or Waterless Wash?
EPHIOS replied to jermonger69's question in Washing, Drying, and Decontamination
Honestly, I dont use DS when my car is dusty. I prefer using WW due to the higher lubricity. I then follow up with light mists of DS for extra shine and gloss. -
Thank goodness, I still have 5 gallons left of the original red shampoo. i bought them from Phil from Detailers Domain when they were on clearance for less than $25/gallon.

You can get pretty decent foam from an electric pressure washer like the Ryobi 2000 PSI from Home Depot/Lowes. Let me suggest you to change the orifice of Adams Foam Cannon from 1.25 to 1.1, it will greatly improve the output.

Use APC and let them soak in to the pads for a couple of minutes. Massage out the solution under running warm water. Squeeze out the excess and let air dry.

I just ordered the Swirl Killer Mini, to replace my Meguiars G110v2 with 3 inch backing plate. Though it works, it stalls too often, and too much vibrations. It will be great along with my Flex 3401 and Griots G21.
