  1. I bought the car wash trio package, and it looks like it comes with the regular wash pad... But I am sending Jason a PM right now to try and upgrade it to the jumbo... Guess I should have looked at that first That little bit of difference between the two pad sizes would come in handy on this dang boat I drive Hopefully he can hook me up though
  2. Just place my order for the grit guard, car wash shampoo, drying towel, and wash pad
  3. Sweet deal! Thanks.... Oh a side note... I just noticed the Adam's logo in your tail lights :D:D
  4. Aint nobody needin ta go change mah southarn grammir now, ya 'ere!!! :lolsmack: I am just messing around with ya, Thanks Rich
  5. Thanks Rich... But what did you edit out of my post?
  6. I am going to be re-designing a room at my house. Basically its my office or computer room. Anyways, I am looking for some banners, flags, etc that I put on the ceiling along with some pictures. I cannot go out and spend a fortune on this type stuff, its already going to cost me enough to remodel the kitchen for my wife So I figured I would test the waters with you guys and see if there is anything out there I would prefer to get a good mixture of items from different brands or companies. I am thinking about doing individual walls, obviously there are 4 walls in the room But one has a large closet. I want to do a Ford wall for my truck, a Chevy wall for the El Camino on the opposite side of the room, then the 3rd wall and the wall with the closet will be a mixture of things, along with a trophy rack of some sort. I also want to run a shelf around the entire wall about 1' from the ceiling to hold a butt load of 8x10 pictures. So, if anybody has some 8x10's of their rides, or other flags / posters and want to send them, hell even autograph them if it makes you feel warm inside Don't worry about frames or anything like that, I plan on hitting the dollar store up and getting a bunch. Just looking to see if anybody has anything sitting around their garage or attic that is taking up space and would like to donate it my way Thanks
  7. I have a vehicle cover for my truck. It is not a big fancy super expensive one, but it keeps the dust off when I travel for shows and such. I have not used it in a long time, it has been rolled up in the back of my truck, and got tossed in my shop a while back. I moved it the other day and when I grabbed it, I was absorbed in a cloud of dust How can I wash or clean this thing? I was thinking of just washing it on a delicate cycle, and finding some way to let it air dry???
  8. Thanks Rich!!! Got the tire brush today, man this thing is really nice! I think it will be perfect for getting down in the engine bay!
  9. I might be crazy, but I thought I seen it for $44.95?
  10. Scott, beautiful setup man... Where did you get those race ramps you got up there? the regular style ramps don't work for me all the time. They usually hit the lower part of my front valance on the truck since it sits so low. But those look to be extended out far enough to have plenty of clearance.
  11. Nope, that's ok From the looks of the pictures, it should be rather easy to zip it down with the dremel and get it to fit perfectly. Cool! I should be placing a order in the next 2 weeks to pick that, and a few other goodies up
  12. Thanks guys... I want to order the foam gun and some washing supplies and was looking at the grit guard, maybe its me, but why buy a bucket when I have a ton already. But the grit guard would be nice to have. Esteban & Kevn, How much difference would you say is between the bottom of the bucket and where the grit gaurd sits? 1" or so I am thinking that I could take a dremel and shave it down a little bit to fit properly.
  13. Does this fit a standard 5 gallon bucket?
  14. Dang dude... First of all, great job... But secondly, your write-ups are incredible. So much detail, I think you could write a "Dummies guide to Adam's Polishes" that would benefit the rest of us! But I can tell that you enjoy polishing, you did a really good job on them chicken bones too!!!
  15. Dude... that made me think of a great slogan for Adam's "Adam's Polishes.... Distributing Pride to Shine your Ride"
  16. If that was what it looked like after they professionally cut and buffed it, I would be talking with the shop owner!!! You clearly did a much better job at buffing it than the professional did! Looks great... I would say hit it again and it should be perfect.
  17. Thanks!!! Never really thought about it I guess, but then again, it has not rained in who knows how long. Next time though, I will use a little less
  18. I have one not to far, I never buy from them though. I have a "discount tools" store which is basically the same thing. The only thing I buy there are zip ties, wire connectors, just the odd and end stuff like that when I buy in surplus. Other than that, any tools and such come from Home Depot / Lowes / Sears, etc...
  19. I did in the earlier post, 2 red 3157 LED bulbs... Cost about $15ish or so... Each bulb contains like 24 leds
  20. Awesome Brandon... Welcome!!! Check out VirtualFord.org too, there are a lot of local Florida guys on there as well, matter o fact a couple live over in your area.
  21. Eeewww, looks like I smacked a bug too...
  22. Well, Saturday I detailed the truck up. I used VRT on all the window rubbers and the plastic pieces. It looked fantastic. I have used it before without any problems. Last night I guess it rained pretty hard, but this is what I woke up to. There was residue from the VRT that ran all down the doors, bumper and everywhere else that I had applied it. It also left patchy areas on the plastics where it had washed off. Did I use to much when I did it? No damage was done, it came off easily with detail spray. I just want to prevent this from happening again.
