  1. Can buttery wax be applied with this dressing pad?
  2. It's a Samsung 58in Plasma (PN58A550) I too have a Harmony One remote! Bought it when it first came out. Took me awhile though to configure everything just the way how I want it to be.
  3. Nice setup but got some questions: Are those speakers loud enough though and is that an Onkyo receiver? Is that a Toshiba HD-DVD player in the middle? Also what is that device on top of that player? Do you have a cable box? It almost looks like I have the same A/V components as you. Top left side: Cable box Toshiba HD-DVD A35 Bottom left: PS3 and Wii Center top: Onkyo TX-SR705 A/V receiver 100w per channel Center Bottom: Panamax 5400-PM Power management/Voltage regulation Top Right: Xbox 360 Elite Bottom Right: Furman M1500 UPS
  4. According to most manufacturers and on newer plasmas, the break-in period isn't necessary. However I did it on my plasma just to be on the safe side. I do admit that there is some extra care in taking care of a plasma vs. LCD.
  5. What is your budget? I have a 58in Samsung PN58A550 and got it from Amazon.com. My living room is bright during the day and don't experience any reflective issues off the screen. It is however tilted down 7 degrees. Most plasma's now have good anti-glare coating on the screens. In my opinion plasma's offer the best picture but at the small risk image retention. Burn-in is normal but can be prevented and most HDTVs have anti burn-in features. Just remember that burn-in can be removed. Image retention is permanent. A good quality LCD can't get burn-in or IR. I recommend looking at the 50in Samsung or Panasonic plasmas. Go to Circuit City or Best Buy first to inspect them in person. However, these stores like to put the displays on "torch" settings where it's really bright. If you want the cream of the crop with the best blacks then there's Pioneer but a lot more expensive. Here's a pictures of my home theater setup: Here are some HD shots and again this is from a Plasma. The HDTV is not crooked.. it's the camera.
  6. Can this be used on perforated leather? I'm afraid that the conditioner will fill up the breathing holes on the leather and get crusted up.
  7. If you want to get a rotary I first recommend picking up a used hood or fender panel from the local auto junk yard and start practicing on that and see what RPM speeds work well. You obviously want to use low speeds like 1000-1400 but of course it depends on bad the defects are.
  8. I am the Operations manager at a BMW independent shop in Los Angeles, CA.
  9. I upgraded from a PC to a Flex 3401. Haven't had the time to use Adams polishes on the Flex yet.
  10. Nice front bumper conversion! I think you're the first Japanese import that I've seen with those BBS style wheels. I mostly see them on BMW but nonetheless looks great!
  11. Excellent! Please post pics when you get the chance.
  12. Might want to go to setting 4.5 - 5. On the picture you posted it looks like it's hazing. Check out this youtube video:
  13. My guess is either too much polish or didn't give enough time for the polish to break down/moving too fast. What speed were you using on the PC?
  14. I gotta try that! For some reason the haze seems to build up pretty fast on my '98 M3.
  15. I will be using this for life! Previous quick detailer sprays that I've used are SpeedShine and Zaino but Adams Detail Spray does a great job and smells great!
  16. My first product was the In and Out. I was very impressed with it when I detailed the engine on my sister's '97 Acura Integra. After that I ended up getting almost every bottle of wash, cleaner, polish, wax etc that Adam's had on their website. I just don't have the Adam's clear polish or clear spray for the clear bra's.
