Welcome Bill! Good to hear you met Adam!
-
Great looking car! Welcome!
What part of PA are you from? There are a lot of Adam's users from PA.
-
I tried to message you Rich. Shoot me an email when you get a chance.
-
Sorry for the delay Marshall. I just sent you an email and you should be all set.
Yes, we've been swamped at our primary business. I just caught the red eye in from Bend, Ore. Two stops on the way back, including flat tires on the plane! 32hrs in the air in the last three days.

I have about a case in stock. If you need it, we have it in the 3 pack as well.

Good luck Kristen!

You don't clay just for the sake of claying. You do it for a reason. Get a thin plastic bag (lunch bag) and put your hand in it. Feel the paint and determine if you have any deposits embedded in your paint.
Break the clay bar into small pieces. I use a piece, once flat, just large enough to cover my three middle fingers.
Use a lubricant (Detail Spray, Rinseless Wash diluted, etc.) and run the clay across the paint, doing one small section at a time. Clean the section off and feel it again with the bag. If there is still contaminant, continue to clay. Move on to the next section once you are satisfied.
I almost always machine polish after claying. If so, I go directly into the polishing. However, you can simply remove the clay residue with Detail Spray and move to sealing the paint.
There is a lot of discussion as to whether Brilliant Glaze can be applied before sealant, that's up to you. I typically apply the sealant first, then Glaze, then another coat of sealant. Typically, I use the Liquid Paint Sealant on my daily drivers and Americana on my weekend cars. I have been short on time this summer and have used a lot of Quick Sealant on my Viper. LOVE IT! Works great on a car that doesn't see much rain.

I would use a dedicated applicator. There is a chance the wheels still have brake dust on them. I wouldn't want to bring that dust back onto the paint of the car. The Block Tire Sponges might be a good way to go.
Have you clayed them yet?

Welcome Rob! I went to LVC and spent a good amount of time in York. There are a lot of hot rodders there!
-
I agree with Dave. If you are not ready to move to a polisher, the 4" drill adaptor is a great choice!

Garage looks amazing Matt!

- You definitely will need more Detail Spray!
- You need a Clay Bar.
- You should also have more microfiber towels. The Borderless Blue and Double Soft Towels are fantastic!
- You should definitely have a Grit Guard in your wash bucket, and preferably two buckets.
Other great products to name a few:
Rinseless Wash
Quick Sealant
In & Out Spray
Invisible Undercarriage Spray
Wheel Woolies

I have Americana in stock as well. Also have applicators.
I have a COUPLE Mini waxes left too:

Cool stuff Rich! How's it work with the hand throttle on the other side of the column?
-
I personally use them and they are great! I buy and sell a lot of 5 Gallons of the liquid, and gallons of the polish. They are typically custom order from Adam's. I have a mix of local detail shops, as well as guys in local clubs buy in volume containers.
If you ever have a problem and you buy them from me, you can return them.

Kinda tough to see in the pics, but I've had some pretty rough pads in the past!
Did you clay the car first? If so, after claying, did you check the paint, using a thin plastic bag, to ensure all desposits were removed? You might want to reclay the car before continuing. Also, remember to prime the pad with Detail Spray.
-
Nice work, keep it up! You have a lot more ahead of you!

I still have some SSR and use it on my personal cars. Still a great product, don't throw it away!

MIGHT have a couple Green Hex Pads. I might have some Green Focus pads as well. Will check tonight for you. I have 1 Yellow Hex Pad.I checked last night and only have the Green Flex pads, sorry!

Thank you Kingsford for the plug! Dealers are def. a good option when Adam's is low on supply. We offer FREE shipping on orders over $95, so that should help anyone not local! We try to stay loyal to Adam, but carry a couple discontinued items, as well as a couple other branded products.
