  1. That car won't be for sale for long. Looks like a great deal, and even before you worked your magic on it, you can tell it's been pampered (just not washed properly). Nice work!
  2. Cigarette smoke smell has not returned, so far!
  3. I have never smoked, however the previous operator of my patrol car did. It's evident by the cigarette burns in the seats, carpets, and the melted plastic on the door. I "Adamized" the car when I first got it, including a complete cleaning of the interior (I mean everything, carpets, floormats, headliner, etc). I still noticed a faint smell of cigarette smoke that I just couldn't get rid of. A friend suggested an idea and I thought I would share it with you. I was fortunate enough to leave the car parked for 11 days straight (mini vacation). During that time I bought a large bag of charcoal. I split it into two smaller brown paper bags and placed one in the front and one in the back (the car is separated by a cage). I was thrilled when I returned from vacation to find that the car no longer smelled like cigarette smoke. I'm not sure if it will last, but it worked for now.
  4. Mysticine, VA, FNQWIK Obligatory picture: The sad part is that it's not as fast as the 2002 Z06 I had before this. Maybe one day.
  5. Dylan, I took your advice, thank you. I really didn't see this as being an Adam's issue though, more of one with Flex directly. However, like I see time and time again Adam's Customer Service stepped up to the plate and nailed a grand slam. Hopefully when you guys get it back you can figure out why my Flex was being a You guys have a customer for life.
  6. So in the shade my car looks like perfect, like smooth glass... direct sunlight reveals "Swirlcity". I figured I'd give it a go working on it a little all week to remedy this. Last night I had no problems. Tonight however, I noticed some odd little black plastic pieces showing up on my car... then I noticed the backing plate on my Flex was shredding itself! A quick google search showed that someone else fixed this problem by ensuring that the center bolt was tightened. I checked mine and it didn't need tightened any. Any idea what else could be causing this? FWIW, I use the Flex on "5" and hardly apply any pressure at all.
  7. The sides of my container are bowed out, and the lid can be hard to remove - but I'm the one that let it sit in the garage most of the summer.
