Hi Mark, I'm really sorry you had that issue with your new blue waffle towel. It should not separate that easily, so please give us a call and we will warranty that for you!
Thanks, will do!
Edit: Well, that was painless. Called and a replacement is being shipped out this afternoon. Awesome customer service, from Courtney!

The stitched 90 degree corners are the weakest point of microfiber towels. Some manufacturers try rounded corners and some have silk bound for protection.
It just sucks, because I haven't even used it yet. I just washed it about pulled it out and it looked like that. I would expect that after about 5 washes and 5 uses, not 1 wash and 0 uses.

I know, I'm in here again...
This time it's not about FedEx though. The blue waffle towel that I just received is already fraying. I washed it before using it, with other towels, and it's already falling apart. It's not the end of the world for me, but I thought that it might be a manufacturer defect and that you guys should know.

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one. Lol
It did eventually show up. Funny thing was that two FedEx trucks visited my complex the day it showed up. No wonder they can't get anything to the right place on time, they're double tracking.
-
Thanks for the support guys! I really appreciate it.
I guess it's just really annoying to see something expected one day, and it not show up, then to check and for them to have it say that they don't know when it'll get here. Twice.
It's frustrating and you guys have helped alleviate that frustration.

Shipped on Oct 30th and delivered Nov 3rd. If they're going to show on the tracking that it's going to be delivered on a certain day and it's not, ever, they're lying to their customers. I'm not at all trying to blame Adam's, I'm just wishing that they would stop using FedEx. I have had nothing but issues with FedEx. It's really annoying. Maybe it's just this crappy state I live in, but I don't remember ever having FedEx issues before living here.

Its that time of the year. Between Thanksgiving and Christmas EVERY carrier is going to slip, especially the first week after thanksgiving because SOOOOOOOOOOO many more packages are moving around.
I used to be FedEx's biggest critic, but honestly, since I've started shopping at Adam's, I've become much more of a fan. My Black Friday order was ready to ship on Monday, but the FedEx truck didn't have room for it. I don't blame Adam's or FedEx for that one. But it shipped on Tuesday and was supposed to be here Today. It left the sort an hour later than it usually does, so missed the sort for delivery today. It's just that time of the year.
According to the FedEx shipping estimator, with it being picked up on Tuesday, you shouldn't expect it until Friday at the earliest.
That may be, but this exact same thing happened back on the 1st of November (scroll up to see). This is literally the exact same situation I was in the last time I ordered something. Pretty annoying.
Have you tried it on a destop computer instead of your phone?
Was it both times in New Bern, NC ? They for some reason might scan it differently.
Try calling Fed-Ex
Yes, it says the same thing. Should have been delivered by the end of the day, and then at the end of the day they change their site to say that they don't know when it'll be delivered.
Yes, both times it was to the same address.
I'll be calling FedEx in the morning if the status hasn't changed.

Hi Mark! I looked up your order and it looks like it was in transit from Grove City, OH to NC from October 30 until today...sorry about that
It's now showing that it arrived in Kernersville, NC at 7:34PM today and it shows it as scheduled to depart at 1:50AM, so hopefully you will have it tomorrow!
Thanks, I appreciate it. Its just weird that it would say that I was supposed to get it Friday and then disappear for a few days until today. It says its out for delivery. I'm still waiting for it to show up.
-
Mark,
I am sure that the Adam's team will do all they can to locate your package, but it more than likely is a FedEx issue.
Could have been delayed on their part, or even sent to a FedEx location not in your area, and then FedEx will get it back on track to you.
More than likely will be there on Monday afternoon sometime.
I appreciate it, I figure it is a FedEx issue and not Adams'. It was merely a post about how crappy FedEx is. I've only ever had issues with them and never UPS.
It's just annoying since the last tagged location was in Ohio, at noon on Friday and it's still not here.
-
Just a heads up, I sent out an email letting you guys know that FedEx is stupid. On Friday my shipping was supposed to get to me "by the end of the day," later that day it said "No scheduled delivery date available at this time."
Still don't have it... It might be lost.

29 Stumps? Marine? TBSS's are out there, you just have to find a nice one. This one was from the original owner with low mileage, but it still has some minor issues I had to fix, the paint being one of the biggest issues.
Yep, Marine. I'm just happy to be going back to California. I missed it so much. I'm not a East Coast kind of guy.
I've looked at a couple and know what to look for in getting one, I'm just looking for the right one, if it comes along.
-
Welcome, the TBSS looks great! I wanted to get one for the longest time, I still kind of do. I'm actually going to be moving out to Twentynine Palms in May, I thought that's where you might be when I saw High Desert, but I guess you're out on Edwards. Haha

Glad that I can use this stuff on everything!

After the initial deep clean you should only need to do deep cleaning quarterly or bi-yearly to be honest. There are some light cleaners in Leather Conditioner so if it's applied monthly you should be on top of it from here on out.
Exactly right. You don't want to use the Leather Cleaner too often. Keep them conditioned well, and don't be afraid to use it on your dash, your doors, and anywhere else that looks like leather, even if it's not. Once a year I'll do a good hand rub on my seats. In other words, I squeeze some on my hands and rub it in real well, then let it sit overnight (unless I'm storing the car for the winter........then it gets applied in the fall and wiped down in the spring), and then wipe it down the next day. If it's hot, even better. It keeps your leather nice and there's a good SPF factor in it too to protect your fabrics from sun fade. Good stuff!
Thanks for the advice guys!
-
Oh. My. Gosh.
I've never actually cleaned the interior before, just wipe downs here and there and it's been fine. I finally decided, after my wife complained about the toughness of the leather, that I should get the interior stuff.
I'm glad she finally complained about something worth while! I couldn't be happier about my purchase from Adams! I am now doing a monthly deep cleaning and conditioning.
LOVE IT!

Welcome!
Also in NC, but I'm in New Bern.

Welcome!
I agree with the above, where in NC?

Picture my truck next to a black n orange toyota forklift since I cant take it outside for pictures.
You can't sneak one? haha that's what I had to do to take these.
-
Nice. That ARFF truck looks like ours but only white.
You guys have white ones? I don't think I've ever seen them in white. I've only seen OD green, our yellow/green and red.
Here's my little Diesel with one of it's bigger cousins at a gas station somewhere in Nebraska:
Nice and I thought that the size difference between my GTO and the truck was big. You have me beat by a lot!

Looks good, but I already said that... haha
