I purchased a 2013 Chevy Malibu LT two weeks ago and finally gave the exterior some Adam's treatment.
It came w/ the evil dealership logo, weird spots on the front of the car, and DISO. All the things you ask not to receive, but they still give you.
To top it off the salesperson threw my window sticker in the trash. I forced the dealer to order a new one and they will call me when it is in.
Anyway...
I used...
Tools:
Flex
PC (for tight areas)
Products (no particular order):
Adams Shampoo
Undercarriage Spray
VRT
In and Out
Glass Cleaner
Brilliant Glaze
Glass Sealant
Clear Sealant
Green Wheel Cleaner
All Purpose Cleaner
Paint Finishing Polish w/ Microfiber Pad (WHITE)
Detail Spray
Clay Bar
The car came out great. I clayed, polished, sealed and glazed the exterior.
Cleaned the engine bay and wheels.

Can you use the old flat faced Flex pads with the new system? I have some unused flat faced Flex pads.
I have an Orange, White, and Green. Obviously you can't use the green, but the other two.
I assume you can.

Yes true but you need to be careful how much paint you take off. You don't want to be to aggressive with it.
Agreed you have to be careful indeed.
-
It is normal to see paint on pads for single stage (no clear coat)
-
It should be ok to use them again. Keep in mind single stage paint corrects instantly compared to clear coat paint. Clear coat can several passes to achieve perfection.

This is after fmp, Revive, bg and Americanahhhhhh and I swear it looks better after the Revive.
Looks awesome
-
Does it add additional shine?
-
Is there any benefit to following FMP on the Flex with Revive polish? I heard awhile back it looks great on a dark car.
-
That's quite awhile for QS to last. Additionaly the beading is fantastic. At last count ~ before I had to stop ~ I counted 985 beads.
It's pretty obvious that QS is superior to MSS. The "red" car doesn't have any beads on it at all.
The "Red" car is the neighbors. I am not sure what they use as a wax/sealant... I'm guessing nothing.
-
I haven't waxed my daily driver since April 20 and the rain is still beading on it. I think this stuff seems to be lasting longer than MSS. I could be wrong.

I agree with McHill. Revive before Sealant. Otherwise... I can't wait to see the photos. Good luck!

Great I will just order the new red and black ones for the flex. This is great we only have to use one machine to polish now. I will hold off the order until I see a few more comments.

Are the new pads better than the old pads? Do they offer better or quicker swirl removal? Will I notice a difference. I will order them if they do. I do have some flex pads that I haven't used yet, but if these offer better correction, I will use the last gen pads for back ups. Thanks.

I have had the regular Little Green for years. My original purpose at the time was do the carpeted stairs, but when I first used it in my car a couple years ago I was happy. Now I use it all the time. It removed stains in my old G6 that the detailer down the street's "premium carpet service and shampoo" couldn't. What a waste of money that was. But now I don't have to worry, I do it my self.
Mine doesn't have the Pro Heat because that model wasn't available then.
