  1. Nice looking truck. Who did you have do the bagging or did you do it yourself. Nice work either way.
  2. That sucks man. At the least I would add more light to the back end with something like this that comes on with reverse lights if it fits your truck. http://www.stylintrucks.com/parts.aspx?category|category_root|-26=Lighting&category|cat_-26|114=Back+Up+Lighting+%26+Alerts&canned_results_trigger=&partfamilyid=735 Another option would be a add on back up camera, but they get to be a little pricey. http://www.crutchfield.com/p_707VTC461R/Boyo-VTC461R-Rear-view-System.html?search=camera&tp=83 Me, I have super bright reverse lights, and a fire and ice light bar to add light for backing up and plan on wiring up small fog lights by the hitch that come on with the reverse lights. Hope this helps
  3. Sounds good, seems easy to do especially with the cold. I was able to get a coat of sealant on just before winter, but the buttery wax would help my white paint shine nicely since it is hard to make it really shiny. This is the only part of winter I hate, the constant cleaning (more than I already do). Thanks for the help.
  4. Nice looking car, looks like you take good car of the car. My friend drives a 01' Phoenix yellow Integra Type R. I do like the style of the integra, nice work.
  5. Get some EBC greenstuff brake pads (low dust and easier to clean than other pads), or get some dust shields for your wheels. Keep the wheels waxed and each time you clean them it will be easier than it would with non waxed wheels.
  6. Did you paint the wheels or is that how they came stock. I like the look of the satin black finish on them. That bottle opener mod is awesome, the ultimate tailgating accessory. I think that truck will look great with the fender flares on it. My truck would even look short next to your truck.
  7. It does get expensive, but I try to do as much work as possible on my own to save money and it helps me to buy things used. It is fun though every time I put something new on (when I have the money). The picture in the tall grass makes my truck look short though:D.
  8. I forgot to list what I have done to it. I have done Westin Platnium Series Step bars, AFE cold air intake, tinted windows 20%, tinted taillights(took 2 days to do), Pioneer cd player, debadged all badges except for the hemi badges, and Aero Turbine 3030XL muffler. I still have a lot of ideas of things to do to it. Next I will be doing a paint matched grill as soon as I fix and paint the other one I have.
  9. :DI use that name because I work for Chevy as a tech, kinda wierd that I own a Dodge but I love it. Also, chevy is still one of my favorite vehicle lines.
  10. That truck looks mean and looks great. Since you are wanting to get rid of the chrome are you going to have the nerf bars Line-x also? Nice work.
  11. What would work good to use after washing the vehicle to protect the wax during the winter. I don't have a warm enough area to wax the vehicle in the winter and just don't want unprotected paint with road salt and other nasty conditions.
  12. Thanks for the comments, it took a lot of work to get the truck to the way it looks since I am the second owner and the first did not take good care of it.
  13. That car looks awesome. They not only look mean, but they are a lot of fun to drive (especially when those baffles in the tailpipes open up)
  14. Nice truck, that is my favorite color available for the Chevy Trucks.
  15. This is my truck that I don't think I ever let get dirty. It is a great all around truck that I will run till it is dead:D
  16. I am new here to learn more about detailing my truck. I have seen the products great results on other vehicles. This looks like a site that is going to teach me the best ways of taking care of my vehicle to keep it looking good for a long time. I drive a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 that sits outside all the time, but is constantly cleaned in and out. I work on cars (Chevy) and detail my own vehicles as a hobby. Adam
