  1. Adam, You're a cool guy thanks for the passion. My business is coming along and JBA Racing just picked up my products...thanks for the encouragement at SEMA. Bangastang aka Hendrix
  2. :banana:Where is everyone? Come out and play I've got a football and the street lights are on.
  3. It's only 10:19pm here in San Diego.
  4. Hey Babyfer, Go over to Home Depot they should have some books on driveways and walkways. You could put down some rocks and make some form of drainage systems for a little of nothing. The rocks (gravel) will probably be the most expensive item, some PVC pipe and a little chewing gum and badabing problem. I know you would like concrete but I want a Vortec Supercharger but don't have the money....Santa are you listening. Talk to the guys at Home Depot they can help you. Good luck
  5. There is a guy here in San Diego that details exotic cars for Concours shows and big $$$$ clients. I've picked his brain a few times and learned quite a bit. He showed me something that blew my mind. He took a digital camera and photographed the hood of a Ferrari that I thought was in pristine condition. He kept blowing up that image and after a few enlargements you could see the swirl marks which I believe he called "spydering". The owner of the Ferrari which was red, used a California Duster. When I mentioned California Duster he freaked out and said "never use those things". As he explained it to me using the duster just takes the dirt and spreads it across the car adding fine scratches to your paint. Remember that duster is dry and has no lubricant, kind of like low-end sand blasting. Now this is the part that really got my attention, I watched this guy send over two hours with a Porter Cable buff out 1/4 of the hood on the Ferrari. He then took another photograph and blew it up on his laptop....swirl marks were gone. I saw this myself this wasn't a infomercial on TV. You may not see the scratches at a glance but if you look closer you'll see them. Get yourself a magnifying glass and try the same thing, it might scare you. Now are some of us anal enough about our cars to do that, YES? But for us show car guys who are always looking for a leg up it's just something to be conscious about. To sum it all up use Adams Detail Spray and a microfiber cloth.
  6. Hey Vette Girl, I was born and raised in Detroit but moved away in 1992. When I visit home the first thing that I want is "White Castle" and "Pizza Papilus".....send me some PLEEEZE.
  7. Here's my garage with the Motofloor tiles from Costco.
  8. Hey Adam, You're welcome. I didn't know if I could post about my website didn't want to step on any toes. Hendrix aka Bangastang http://www.bangastang.com Your source for painted 2005-2009 Mustang Accessories
  9. My first product was the Buttery wax, I bought it at a Vette show that I was covering for the local news. I put the wax in my garage on my shelf and it stayed there for a few months. Finally I decided to give it a try...BOY OH BOY. My Stang was parked in my garage and I keep walking out to my garage and saying "damm look at the shine." I haven't used any other products besides Adams since. I disposed of the other company's products, who's name I will not mention at the local toxic dump site one weekend. Bangastang
  10. First off nice Vette. I love my Motofloor it's very easy to install and cleans up great. I actually laid down my epoxy first then put down the race tiles. With your white Vette it would like very cool. I bought the tiles at Costco this summer I must have cleaned them out. Costco sells it a lot cheaper than most places and they actually marked it down to $50.00 a box...great deal. I have a 2 1/2 car garage and it took me 8 boxes to cover my floor, your garage is a lot larger. Just keep one thing in mind your must purchase the edging separate to finish the ends. The good thing is the edging comes in different colors...like red. I'm such a gearhead. Now all my car buddies want the same floor. Good luck Bangastang aka Hendrix
  11. I like it but I'll keep my '06 GT
  12. The Spray Glaze works great on my Mac....I'll never buy another PC.
  13. I did a combination of Rustoleum Epoxy and Motofloor which is the checkered race tile that's available from Costo. My floor looks great and cleans up easily. With the Rustoleum I would suggest putting on a coat of clear, because it did lose the shine after a year. I did hear that U-Coat is nice stuff.
  14. To quote from the movie "Bad Boys", "from now on that's how you drive."
  15. I was also accused of wet sanding my car....never have
  16. Hey Folks, Just a quick story, recently my car was in the SEMA show in Las Vegas and a gentleman walked up to me and asked me "who painted your car?" Now this is not the first time that someone thought my car had a aftermarket paint job. I simply told him that my car has factory paint and I use Adam's polishes....his jaw dropped to the floor. I then showed him all of my Adam's products in my trunk.
  17. Glad to hear that everyone is okay and the Stang is looking good
  18. Hey Hutch, What ever happened to the "Bay City Rollers"?
  19. Hey Greg, I agree with Rich avoid the duster especially with a black car, use the detail spray and a microfiber towel. Easier is not always better. Just remember with a duster you're just taking dust and moving it over the surface of your car.....more scratches.
