If I use Halogen, how far away from the paint is sufficient to prevent heating up the panels?

Does an LED light will show swirls better than the sun? Or is the sun the end all be all of Swirl Finding? I'd rather not have to keep pushing the car out into the sun while I'm detailing to inspect the paint, or even if I should buy a good OTC inspection light.

Cleaning with warm water, and a soft microfiber towel should work. Adam's interior cleaner, if I have read correctly is very strong. So, it may be too strong for your wheel, as you have noticed.

2 bucket washing, with 2 grit guards. 1 in each bucket. Light pressure on the paint with your wash mitts. 1 Mit for the upper portion 1 for the lower. A good pre rinse will help reduce the amount of large dirt particles on the car.

I'm going onto my 2nd attempt at polishing tomorrow:banana: I had to quite early and it was half-assed last time, I had back pain, at 17 this is a problem. Anyways, any last minute tips and tricks or things to keep in mind? I'm going for perfection! Starting at 10 AM and I have daylight until around 8pm in MA, so let's go! Oh yea, any posture tips for polishing and such? I want to avoid any stress on my lower back, especially lower panels.
