  1. Thank you guys! Ill mix up some adams car wash and water into a spray bottle and go at it. Pics to follow. I cleaned the wheels and wheel wells today. Then I did a strip wash so i can start claying bright and early. I also shampooed the carpet inside my truck for the first time since ive bought it over 2 years ago. Not nearly as dirty as I was expecting. Then the sun decided it had enough for one day and went down.
  2. I have a question for you guys. Can I use WW to clay my truck? Reason is that Im running low on DS and I want to save it to wipe off the FMP and MSS followed by BG and finally Buttery. Its too late to order some as I am doing this tomorrow. Someone please let me know! Thanks!
  3. Were starting to get higher gusts of wind here in southern Harford County MD
  4. I really admire you guys. One day I hope to have half the courage you guys do!
  5. Thank you! She was in shock. She was the one who scheduled her friend to take some fall pictures of us and our pups. So I talked to her friend and said I was going to propose and we came up with the game plan. Funny thing is we have lived together for almost 3 years but I was still really nervous to ask her.
  6. I have to say today was a good day!
  7. my g/f's 2011 Nitro was leaking trans fluid after owning it only 3 months. Then the drivers door lock would go up and down 20 times in 3 seconds as soon as you hit.unlock.
  8. if the plastic is scratched Im not sure if anything can be done to fix it.
  9. I finally got around to adding some BG and Buttery to my g/f's Nitro. I did a full detail 2 weekends ago so i wanted to put something on top of the MSS for winter. Then I washed my truck, rotated the tires, and added some SVRT to the tires. I only have a little buttery left so you know what that means! Americana Time!
  10. Toyota's headlight definitely haze up horribly. I recently removed the haze from a corolla for a friend of my g/f's mom. I wet sanded with 1500 grit then 2500 grit then shr and finished with fmp. let me see if I have some pics.
  11. Well i cannot yet say that I love my job because Im still in the training academy phase and not out in the field. But I can say that I have the job that I have dreamed of since I was a kid and am very grateful for the opportunity. It has been a long road but worth every step!
  12. After being inspired by Len for going full time with his auto detailing business, I was curious how many other small business owners we have in our Adams family. I am always amazed when I hear peoples stories about how they started their own businesses and how they were able to grow them into what they've become today. I can only imagine how rewarding yet scary it can be. One day I hope to have a small business of my own. Starting out part time while keeping my full time job and maybe one day be able to do it full time. So please share your stories with us!
  13. Finally got the time and weather cooperation to really detail the g/f's Nitro. Then my brother came down and I got some scuff marks out of his tank on his bike. Next thing I know I just worked my way around the whole thing. Much easier and faster than a car or truck. Now i just need to apply some BG and buttery wax on the nitro and ill be done.
  14. Congrats man!! I envy you. One day I will be my own boss, maybe not full time but at least part time.

  19. I thought i would show my GF's Nitro some love today. I pre-treated it with WW, then washed it with some adams car wash. After drying it off i noticed a bunch of specs on the hood and front bumper. So I busted out the adams clay bar. I only intended to do the hood and bumper, but one thing led to another and before I knew it I went around the whole suv. Next came an IPA wipedown because when she bought it last sept. she paid extra to have the stealership scotchguard put on inside and out. So i wanted to get all of that junk off before I graced it with the presence of brilliant glaze. Followed up by buttery wax. Once i run out of buttery I will be trying out americana. All exterior glass was then cleaned and sealed. Lastly applied was Super VRT. I put it along the front bumper, mirrors, roof rack, door handles, rear bumper pad and tires. It started out as just a simple wash and dry with detail spray as I thought it was going to be raining. It stayed cloudy all day but no rain so I just kept on going. I wish i would of taken out the PC and threw on some FMP, and then went with brilliant glaze and buttery. Oh well, there's always next time. Check it out!
