Pressure Wash Gun vs Foam Wash Gun
Will! replied to Goatluver's question in Washing, Drying, and Decontamination
I'm using the MTM foam cannon with a gas pressure washer 2600psi and 2.3gpm. It seems to foam decently but I do not like the lack of cling from the foam. I was expecting for the foam to be able to dwell a little longer. -
Pressure Wash Gun vs Foam Wash Gun
Will! replied to Goatluver's question in Washing, Drying, and Decontamination
I'm having some difficulty with the foam cannon and car shampoo. I am using 2-3oz of soap and filling the rest with cold water. I see some here mention to use warm water, would that help with my issue of the foam not clinging to the vehicle long enough? Or is there another mixture that I could try without using a ton of soap? -
NEW! Adam's Rinseless Car Wash (discussion)
Will! replied to Team Adam's's question in Washing, Drying, and Decontamination
What would the proper dilution ratio be to mix Rinseless to the same level as Waterless in a gallon container? I've just about emptied my old Waterless Wash gallon and wanted to refill with compareable dilution. Thanks!- 179 replies

I can't say that I blame you in the least for telling them to keep the car. I know I would have when we bought out Accord. I very specifically told them not to wash it or no deal. Surprisingly they obliged...

You Ask....Why Have We Removed Products from our Site?
Will! replied to Adam's topic in Company Info/Announcements
Adam, Thank you for the info. I actually appreciate that you have decided to stop carrying the items that are constantly on backorder as that makes it easier for us as consumers. While I like many would prefer that Adam's continue to be my one stop shop I am pretty well stocked up until these changes come into effect. Let us not also forget the many awesome dealers that have products that the HQ may not. Change may worry some, but change can also bring even greater things to the table for us. There are many other detailing products made out there but I highly doubt any with the guts to do what's right for the customer and to continue to provide the same top notch service, products and experience that Adam's has. -
What hose nozzle are you currently sporting?
Will! replied to madspeed's question in Washing, Drying, and Decontamination
Check with Eric at Thompson Racing. I just got my firehose nozzle in from him. I'm super impressed with the quality on this nozzle, well worth the money. -
Kwazar Sprayer Review
Will! replied to Will!'s question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
Yeah, spray on a Borderless Blue microfiber and wipe down. -
Alright here goes... I ordered several Kwazar's and just got these guys in today. Once I opened the infamous Adam's box I found 9 Kwazar's packed neatly inside. My initial impressions of these guys are definitely a quality and well built sprayer. At first I was hesitant to order them thinking mostly that how good can a spray bottle really be? Well let's be honest here this is hands down the best sprayer that I have ever come into contact with. The biggest disadvantage to me for these sprayers is now the won't fit inside the bottle holder in my Adam's detailing cart. I haven't yet had the chance to try the sprayers out with anything other than the original Detail Spray on my MacBook but I am definitely sold on these. The adjustment from a light mist to a nice stream is something that will come in handy no matter what product you'll use in these guys. Tomorrow I will be completing a full two bucket wash with these and will update you all on my findings with other products.

Wow, nice color choice! Car isn't so bad either

I was finally able to find the time to correct my truck. Unfortunately it was vandalized June 2013 and needed a complete repaint and I just haven't had the time to fix the "final" buff from the body shop.

What Adams Product to Use?
Will! replied to Will!'s question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
I'm still blown away about it so to speak, it sucks but I hope the body shop I've chosen will give me what I've asked for. Their reputation is very good too so I'm hopeful. It also helps that my insurance company has been super helpful with all of this as well. -

Thankfully my insurance will cover it. It's way worse than what the pictures show, and all of the marks are deeper than can be saved -
What Adams Product to Use?
Will! replied to Will!'s question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
I know that it needs paint, I actually never even tried to buff it out because I was so mad. Thanks for all the kind words guys, I was just trying to make light of a crappy situation by asking which product to use to get some laughs. -

What kind of case do you have on yours? Or are you keeping it bare? I have a Speck/Burton case but I'm wanting something different. How durable is the iPhone5 without a case?

Get well soon Jose!

Here are a couple of pictures of the area that I think is failing. I'm wondering if I tape this edge off would I be good to go to polish?
-
Hey guys, I am wanting to give my mother in laws black accord the Adams treatment but her clear coat is starting to fail along the roof. It's just a couple of small spots not even the size of a dime but I am worried that I may cause it to fail worse than it already is. Would it be ok to polish out the roof with the PC and the Adams trio or am I going to make the clear coat failure worse?
-
thanks! Looks like I will be placing another Adams order again, I'm addicted!
-
Well I finally got some info from BMF, these are clear coated. Now the problem is I believe the installers wiped them when they were dry and now have very faint surface scratches. What's the bet way to help this?
-
Those are BMF Novakanes. Thanks for the compliments everyone!

thanks! I'm trying to make it look as good as I can. More changes coming soon...
