  1. As a proud servant to 5 shedding cats that love to sleep on furniture, the cheap solution is a damp wash cloth (perferably real terry cloth). It will cause the pet hair to start coming off in chunks that you can then pickoff the cloth.
  2. I'm a technical writer. I write all those software type manuals nobody bothers to read until they have a problem.
  3. Welcome to the forum Shane. Love Mustangs myself.
  4. Never had a problem with staining so I'd vote for keeping it the way it is. It's so easy now for me to know what I have in my little bottles just by color.
  5. Thanks for everyone's help. Since the temps aren't around 70 yet here (Pacific Nortwest) and the car doesn't need to be at a show anytime soon, I think I'll stick to the spray glaze for a while.
  6. I just had my back fender refurbished due to some nasty gouges in it. They had to repaint the bumper and my question is how long do I need to wait before waxing over the fresh paint?
  7. For a little while, hear it's supposed to go down to 24 tonight.
  8. I'd like to add my thanks as well, being one of those brave souls. One of the great things about Adams products is they don't seem to be bothered by temperature as much as some others are.
  9. Great Pics! Makes me really envious. Can't wait for car season to start up here in the Great Northwest. Went to an Adam's detailing demo yesterday in Vancouver Washington and it snowed on us.
  10. Hi Adam: Thanks for the great demo! I learned alot and stocked up on some great products to boot! Can't wait to try the new wheel cleaner. Hopefully this distardly snow will leave soon.
  11. I found your rep at the Wranglers' All Ford Show last year in Hillsboro, Or. It was the first time I was offically showing my car. I had a real bad experience with a competitor's product. I clay barred the car and the detail spray left a greasy look and feel behind. I was definately looking for something new. Your rep demo'ed the detailer and the VRT for me and I was sold. Both by the results and the fragrance (I love it). Now it's Adam's all the way!
  12. All my car care products are out there but nothing else seperated. Right now it looks like atinted pink liquid with bubble gum floating at the bottom.
  13. I agree, my car is Dark Highland Green and it really shines with the BSG.
  14. I don't think so but I do keep it in the garage and that's not really heated.
  15. I will definately be there. Infact, I think a group of people from my car club are planning on doing it.
  16. I use both products and love them. I use the DS when I am out at a car show as it works quick and easy to give my car a great shine. I use BSG in bwteen waxing with the buttery wax. It's a bit faster and brings back the shine when I don't have time to do a deep wax job.
  17. I don't use a mini-blower. I use a full size leaf blower and I love it. Before I always had water leaking out of different areas I couldn't get a towel in. Now I just blow them out then wipe up the water from the car.
  18. I have a question. I bought the whole car care kit at the end of the car show season last year. As part of the kit, I got the Adams car wash. However, due to the fact that my husband wanted to finish off some old product first, I never got to use the wash and now I noticed it has seperated. Is there an easy way to reblend it?
  19. Thanks every one for the great welcome. To Crowvet: You'll have to do the cooking. I'm not that type of gal.
  20. Hi All: I just joined the Adams Forum and am looking forward to learning about detailing. I am a proud owner of a 2001 Mustang GT Bullitt, dark-highland green of course. I just bought the car in the early spring and have been having a blast with it. I was looking for a car that I would be proud to show off at shows and got a sweet deal on the Bullitt which had less that 7,000 miles and was in show room condition. Since I got it, I have been learning how to take care of it. I got some of the basics down as I have already claybared the car and of course washed and waxed it numerous times. I am hoping this forum will help me learn more.
