Well, I have learned that I was doing at least a couple things wrong. First, I was not spreading the product at 3k OPM and then moving to 5 or 6. I was staying at 3 the entire time. Also, I was applying 5 or 6 sprays of detail spray to the pad. Maybe too much? I also think I am using to much product and perhaps the pad has some old stuff caked on? Basically, I am doing more things wrong than right...

I have viewed the videos on washing, polishing, etc and I have a couple questions about these new pads. 1. What are the preferred OPM settings for the new pads? 2. Should the amount of product (swirl remover, polish, wax) be adjusted due to the different density, material, etc? What is the right amount? 3. What am I doing wrong - while using the orange pad and swirl & haze remover - when the pad seems to be uncontrollable as if its stuck in a rut and going in its own direction? Its like some times I control it with no problems but sometimes it hits a spot where it gets away from me...I dont understand why the change if I am using the same constant pressure Thanks

moving the PC with the pad at an angle? I have read/heard to not do so and to keep the pad flat, but Im not sure what the danger is. Sorry for the noob question. Thanks.

omg...that 'vette is SICK. Makes me want to throw my PC away and leave it to the pros. Amazing shine!
