  1. Very nice job... My dad has an '05 Denali in about the same condition. His 60th birthday is in April so you know what my present will be
  2. ... when you thought it was crazy to see a $1500 car care kit on adamspolishes.com before making your first purchase... And now you wish you would have done that.
  3. Well I just completed another order. Biggest thing on the list? Porter Cable 7424XP... Back story: I've been in the market for a porter cable/machine for the last year or so... Just never had the courage to pull the trigger on a complete kit. A few forum members recently posted their PC's for sale and I couldn't make a decision between the two... so I actually used "Live Chat" on Adamspolishes.com to ask an experts opinion! Keep in mind they knew full and well I wasn't buying a porte cable from them... Just basically using them to help me make my decision! They were extremely helpful! Well one thing led to another and I finally decided to pass on the used ones I found... And instead buy a new one from Adam's directly! I hope and know I will be extremely happy with it! Just a shout out to the great team at Adam's for pleasantly surprising me again... They have the absolutely best customer service of ANY company I've ever worked with!
  4. I plan on doing a full correction and detail to my Mother's '03 Lincoln LS for Christmas. She hasn't had it claybarred since she bought it in '06 so I know I'm in for some fun... My question is about the headlights - they've got a pretty bad haze to them. What product or processes work best to minimize or remove the haze? TIA... Will post pics before/after!
  5. Hahahhahaa ^^^ True statement. I really couldn't give her too much grief about it... She had done ALL of my laundry and only later did I realize what she'd done... My gallon of revitalizer is coming in today. She swears she won't make that mistake again
  6. Not letting this thing go... I can boil water so I will fix it
  7. Good point. UGHHH Adam is the reason I'm poor!
  8. Thanks for the advice! I guess I should have searched first, but once I saw the marks I freaked out! Yeah, I was going to say something along those lines to her, but she already felt HORRIBLE. She did say she would pay for a new one... Perhaps I could cash that in on something else??? (Keep your minds out of the gutter)
  9. Well last weekend my gf was doing laundry and threw in my Great White with a load of whites and washed it with just regular detergent and fabric softener... After a calm and collected come to Jesus meeting with her... I rewashed it with the microfiber revitalizer... Then last week I washed and dried my TBSS and noticed the dreaded "marks" typically left by drying with a dirty rag... So my question is, did I ruin my Great White? Or should I wash it a few more times with revitalizer and hope it "cleans" it out? I don't mind at all purchasing a new drying towel, but only want do if it's necessary... TIA.
  10. Just graduated 2 years ago with a BSME degree. It's hard work but all worth it in the end. Good luck!
  11. Hey guys... When we installed a water softener in our home, we also plumbed in 2 outside water spickets so we have soft water outside for washing cars... My question is, how much safer is it to let soft water dry on a car than hard water? Does it make a difference?
  12. Looks about like my old K5... If I were you I would let it as is because the next time you go out, the only thing you'll be thinking about is how you're going to scratch up your "new" paint lol
  13. This is where mine sits every night... Shows how protective Adam's polishes are!
  14. Yeah I'm confused... OP stated clearly that he's hand polishing, which process includes S&H, then Revive. Only with a machine do you use Severe Swirl, then S&H, the Machine Polish. What am I missing? OP I'm not sure what's wrong with your process... All looks good to me.
  15. Yeah I saw those... Maybe I'll ask my plater or powdercoater if he's done a set...
  16. I'm not very familiar with it... Is Black Chrome a powdercoating process? Wonder how that would look with the Factory rims.
  17. I figured that's true... Mine's not a daily driver, so I don't mind what would be extra polishing, I just wondered what the next best protectant would be... Thought about quick sealant, and Americana... My other choice/thought would be Black Chrome
  18. I'm taking a shot in the dark here... The TBSS wheels are notorious for having the clear on them fade, strip, and generally just look like crap. A number of owners have used aircraft stripper and stripped the clear off, and then polished them to some amazing results. The only problem is then they have to polish them every couple weeks. My question is do you think this is an ok technique to do, have any of you worked with aircraft stripper? Also... What do you think would be the best product or products to use to then protect the wheels since they no longer have a clearcoat? Thanks in advance for any information or suggestions.
  19. Awesome... I guess that seals the deal that I'll be buying a Flex this week then... lol
  20. Dylan, I think I plan on placing an order before the summer sale runs up... Think if I call when I'm ready to order, a replacement can be added to my package?
  21. It sure smells like there's some in there!
