I've noticed, especially on the white pad, if accidentally hit the rubber window seals that they will turn your pad black. Or sometimes when you're removing tar on the lower portions of the car with the clay bar if you don't come back and wipe that area down with detail spray you're left with a dirty pad.

I'm just not a fan of electric cars period. This particular one is pretty, but to me, that's about all.

I wonder how the Tesla would do with a LS9 swap?

I did clean it and this thing had a ton of oil leaks. I'm bad about remember all the after shots. This truck was definitely abused.

Thanks. Turns out there's a ton of Air Force folks that don't like washing their cars and they all drive Fords.

I really need to upgrade to the Flex. I got got to know my PC real well with this Lightning. It was a cloudy day and din't get any good pictures of the paint. This is the fisrt detail I've done that destroyed a an entire clay bar.

Definatlly use the cheap ones for things like the engine bay and the first pass on the door jambs. I'm always picking up new single soft towels on the daily specials but never use them. Today i counted 6 in circulation and 20 still in plastic. These are typically the last thing that touches the finish you your vehicle and people take such good care of them you're afraid to use them for anything else.

I was Looking forward to this weekend. But I'll be there on the 1st.

While I HATE spending that sort of money, I'd gladly do it before shopping at Wal-Mart.

I've given the last 10 years of my life to this country but also like to save money on what I can. The government only pays us so much. I typically do all my shopping on base.

Well here in the dusty state of Kansas it's hard not to go anywhere without having to go down a dirt road. The wind and dust is so bad here that as soon as a vehicle is out of the garage it's covered in dust.

Also, I can't be the only one who was expecting a Fox body when reading the thread title.

Oh man, I pulled that thing out the garage and the wheels were covered in with little specs of brown. I kind of wonder if spraying some brake cleaner on the rotors before the was would prevent this.

I forgot to take more before pictures of the outside. For the exterior I did a 2 bucket strip wash with car shampoo and APC, Then clay bared. Followed by a 3 step polish. Finsihed with a coat of Brilliant Glaze and Adam's Americana Paste Wax. Also tapplied Adam's Super VRT to make it all look brand new again.

This was a fun one. For a 2012 it was in bad shape, a lot of dirt roads. Started with cleaning the interior with leather and interior cleaner then applied leather and interior conditoner.

Next I went to the Wheels

The Brembo Brakes make a ton of dust. Used APC on the tires and wheel wells and just carwash shampoo for the wheels.

The Engine Bay was a mess. Used APC and a ton of scrubbing. The IN and Out Spray was very usefull.

On a side note... 9.59 per qt of Mobil 1 extended mileage oil! HOLY CRAP!

The oil change was over 100 bucks! lol I run it out to 7500 miles though.

Next time check out Walmart for your oil, by far the cheapest and sometimes on sale. Mobil 1 HM usually runs around $28 for a 5 qt. jug. Also some Cary Royal Purple as well.
