  1. Thank you, how much is the flex just by itself, i already have all the pads and polish
  2. This is the worst part of the truck, my friend did the tailgate when we first started because its his truck. Well he couldnt control the buffer, it jumped to much and he messed up the clear. I taped off a little section, used the blue hand applicator and went to town with revive polish! Huge difference It didnt get all of those marks out but it got pretty close. I told him im not using the buffer again just because i dont want to take the chance of messing up paint, so i will be ordering the flex soon
  3. Adams is the best I've ever used. There's 3 polishes one sealant and glaze that can be put on with that buffer. Severe swirl remover with the green pad, swirl and haze with the orange pad, fine machine polish with the white pad, machine super sealant with the gray pad , and brilliant glaze with the red pad. I'd also get detail spray because you're going to use that like crazy. Id also get some single and double soft microfibers. And to top everything off if get Americana wax. This is the best wax I've ever used
  4. Well I have pics but I can't upload them from my phone. I have all the Adams pads and polishes, I taped off a 5 inch strip on the tailgate ( which is the worst part) and used revive with the hand applicator and wow that made a huge difference. But it didnt take all of it out. Would it be ok to use revive on the white pad? What speeds do you use on you're orbital buffer for each polish? I use 1400 rpm on severe swirl and swirl and haze and the fine machine polish. I think that's the problem because I read somewhere where it said to go on a lower speed with the fine machine. But I will have pics Monday
  5. Ill try and get pics tonight, i didnt burn through the paint. I know that for sure, i just saw a thread that had ghosting in the paint? which thats what it looks like. but ill get some pics in about an hour
  6. Last weekend i did a full paint correction on my friends truck..first time ive ever used a polisher. He couldnt used it cause it jumped around too much. I used a dewalt dwp849x polisher with adams pads and polishes. Well on the tailgate i guess i 'burnt' some of the clear coat because you can see where i moved with the polisher. The spots are light so how do i get them out? Go on a lower speed? Move the polisher faster? Use revive? I plan on fixing it tomorrow so any input would be great!
  7. Get the daily special! Undercarriage spray is amazing!!
  8. Cause i just noticed last night that in the light you can see a bunch of different colors on the tint, like theres something smeared on there. I kept cleaning it and it never went away, how do i fix that?
  9. Adams Glass cleaner is safe on tint right!?
  10. Could you use revive on the fine machine polish pad and do the whole car with that, or does it have to be done by hand
  11. I just did that this weekend too! its crazy how fast black gets dirty
  12. Itll be cheaper to buy the ultimate kit, because once you started buying adams youll want it all!
  13. Thanks! and after all that work, its gona rain today!
  14. Last week my dad gave me a dewalt dwp849x rotary polisher. Many people said to take it back and get something less agressive so i wouldnt mess up the paint but i wanted to try it anyways. At first the polisher was quite jumpy and i started at 1000rpms. Once i got comfortable with it i took it up to 1400rpms and it handled pretty well. I think i did pretty good for my first time ever using a polisher. Started the strip wash at 2oclock, then dried everything off, clayed, wiped the detail spray off then taped everything off. I dont have many pictures so im sorry in advance. This was after claying just a 2'x2' area on the hood. Hard water spots taken out with swirl and haze remover. I finished polishing and sealing at 2 AM...12 straight hours on that truck wore me out. This was taken after the 12 hour cure for the machine super sealant. Unfortunately my only after picture of the truck. This is the front passenger door. I will be doing my truck in a week or two and ill make sure to take alot more pictures!
