adams essential pack-gallon refill
Jason [OT] replied to hemi1300's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
I just did this a week or so ago... I ended up talking to Mario I think (I always talk to either Mario or Ashley)... It got handled with no problem. I love this company and their customer service!! -

I have pumps for all but the revitalizer gallon. I do appreciate all of the great advise and tips. DaveVY I do dig the organization and set-up. -
NEW! Adam's Commercial Grade Car Wash Hose!
Jason [OT] replied to Team Adam's's question in Washing, Drying, and Decontamination
Got my 75 footer today that I ordered over the weekend...and it is nice! I do need to get a better hose reel just to do justice to this hose.... And an automatic reel seems like a nice idea anyway. -
Setting up your work area

As a recent convert to Adam's I found myself being like a kid in a candy store while shopping for everything. Several orders later I think the only thing I don't have is Adam's metal polish and an Adam's hat. I have been cleaning out and organizing my garage which became the "catch all" for quite a while. I started setting up an area just to have my supplies at the ready. I was curious how everyone else sets up their work areas... I have the detail cart, a table with all of the gallon refills on it and a drawer to hold the towels and pads all apart from each other. I was looking at my cart and thinking "Should I line these up in order of use or am I being way way OCD about this?" I'm always open to good suggestions or tips... -
Congrats, That's a beautiful car! When I was in high school I would walk home every day and pass a house that had one of these in their yard. I stopped every few days to try and convince the guy to sell it to me. I never could get him to budge. It was still there a couple of years later after I graduated...all rusted out and in sad sad shape.

Very nice!! I am not a huge fan of sedans but this one I would make an exception on. I already called my stereo/electronics genius and let him know I wanted something like this center dash in my Silverado... so that may be happening this winter.

Awesome results as always!

Upcoming Detailing
Jason [OT] replied to Jason [OT]'s question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
The weather simply isn't cooperating! Chance of rain all day and cooler temps than I like to be playing out in the water in. Kicker of the deal was I wanted to still hit the truck with the foam gun and do the wheels and tires... Then I noticed my water hose had been cut... Guess I have to get a new hose and some Americana wax and towels and...whatever else comes to mind. -

I have the Buttery Wax instead of Americana right now. I will be adding that to my aresenal soon enough. -
I was going to ask for an unlimited supply of everything...for life. No option for it. So... I really need to find a very understanding girlfriend that wouldn't mind buying me things like this... or even a girlfriend I don't understand that wouldn't mind buying me things like this... I'm good either way.

This weekend, weather permitting, will be my first full on detailing with all of my newly acquired Adam's products. I can't remember when I was this excited to clean my truck (only because it feels like it has its own zip code some days and seems to take forever). Sunday I am having a "garage day" with some of my friends and I plan on introducing them to the products too and making them converts.
-
Thanks everyone... I am actually debadging it next weekend and adding my RECON LED taillights and 3rd brake light. We're doing a "garage" day at my buddies house where he has more room.

I seem to be a bit of a collector... Hot Wheels, gadgets, watches... etc. I love listening to and finding new music (thanks mom!) I've recently gotten into RC trucks. I have a Traxxas Slash 2WD VXL and a Slash 4X4 Ultimate currently. (pic of the 2WD on first day of ownership... a few seconds before the first crash!)

Here is my ugly mug... Here is one from when I had long hair (I donate it every couple of years) I keep thinking now that I am over 40 I will start going grey and won't donate it anymore... so far so good though!

Congrats!!! I am a big guy myself (much larger than you were) and I am actually having gastric sleeve surgery in a couple of months. I do hit the gym but not nearly as much as I should. I also lucked out and have access to a trainer for crossfit that is free for life... so I have that going for me.
