  1. Looks like it's been a couple years since this question was last asked and since things move quickly in this industry with new products, etc I thought I'd ask again. What's going to keep the exterior siding & decals looking showroom new? Ease of application is key since we're talking about HUGE areas. UV Ceramic Spray Coating CS3? H20 G&G?
  2. That's unfortunate to hear as I'd hate to loose this site as a resource since i only browse using Tapatalk & TapatalkHD I find it odd that this is the only site with issues out of the 15+ forums I frequent using Tapatalk (2 of which I admin)
  3. I too can't navigate between pages of topics or post using TapatalkHD This is the error I get. But no issues using regular tapatalk on iPhone.
  4. Thanks all. As for the pictures I've posted so far... Sadly, you can see a glimpse of just how bad my paint is.
  5. Hello all, Didn't consider myself new to detailing until I started watching the videos and reading these forums. Man, was I doing it wrong. No wonder I never got the results I really wanted. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't doing more damage than good but definitely wasn't getting the best results possible. Anyway, haven't had a car that i really cared about for a few years so my old PC 4336 had been stashed but I'm back now and have my Adams shopping cart loaded up with over $400 worth of the "essentials" and I'm looking forward to face melting paint.
  6. Thanks for all the tips! I look forward to spending more time enjoying the car and less time keeping it shiny. :-)
  7. I did not know that. When I had the wheels refinished the shop suggested using dish soap.
  8. Ahh gotcha. I already don't use chemicals to clean the wheels because its to easy for them to etch the aluminum. So I just use dish soap and water but I like you're idea.
  9. Ok, so I must be blind because I scoured the machine pad page looking for a metal pad and not once did I see the blue metal polish pad. Thanks for pointing that out. With that out of the way. Please tell me more about the brush & spray bottle method.
  10. I'm constantly on the look out for new and exciting places to shoot photos. Just keep an eye out during your normal driving routine. You'd be surprised what you can come up with. And just because everybody else seems to be using this to show of their picture I might as well join in.
  11. Alright, my wheels are polished aluminum with no coating and are a bear to maintain (monthly maintenance still takes hours). So, could I use my PC or another machine to help speed the process along? If so, what pad? Here's a pic of the wheels for reference.
