  1. That most people on this forum have a really great sense of humor, and I like that!

That what makes this forum a very cool place to hang out.

I wonder if it's from smelling the products though?

Me like the stink of Adams products too, but I got to tell you I have to tells me wife once in a while that 'you stink really nice today, what Adams er smelly store bought perfume you wearing today?'

    :D

  2. Hi all, new to the site, but not new to detailing. Like Adam started at a young age, but didn't have the great products like today. Used Blue Coral on cars-what a pain. Thanks to Adam's products detailing is almost fun, especially when you see the transformation in the paint finish. The days of tons of labor on the old cars are gone. Many thanks to Adam for creating super products.

I remember my Dad and my Uncle detailing cars in our garage using Blue Coral. You're right what a job it was.

Now, I don't remember letting you out of your cage Jason?? How dare you go out and play around taking photos, and getting in trouble with the law!

See what happens when your employee's are in California and you're several states away!:lol:

  4. Wow, seriously?? That's crazy! Still, impossible to get that much car for less than $200K elsewhere!

These are awesome cars and you're right about the 200 grand Adam, but like most cars these will depreciate over time and will go down in cost as newer, better ones replace these. The only exception I could see if for some reason the government steps in and makes the auto makers STOP producing these type of cars altogether. In that case these will skyrocket in value but then would they become to 'valuable' to drive?

Case in point there is a 91 ZR1 for sale on Corvette Forum, low miles, nice 2 owner car for $20,000. If I remember he showed a picture of the window sticker of $64,000. It's really no less of a car then what it was back in 91. If I was not paying on my 01 ZO6 this car would be in my garage!

Back to the original post, I LOVE that color and you've done a great job of detailing it. Thanks for posting. BTW did you get to drive it anywhere? :burnout:

  5. I just bought the camera last night but I'm already shopping for some lenses:lol:

For the money this is a pretty good lens. I had an earlier version and liked it real well.

If you are looking for something with more zoom, I have also had this lens.

  6. I have a Canon Rebel that's about 3 years old; I like it but if I were to do it again I'd go Nikon -- a buddy of mine has a nice nikon and some killer lenses and they really do look better.

I take an educated guess here. It's not the camera, it's the lens. If you are using a 'kit' lens with your Canon and your buddy has some 'killer' lens there probably is nothing wrong with your Canon. A large percentage of how well an image comes out is with the lens.

What settings are you using? vs. your friend?
