Issue with "best answer" posts when using dark theme
BluedogGMC replied to TheBurninator's topic in Forum Support
I use the dark also. I have noticed sometime it seems when someone paste text a certain way in their post it stays dark and you cant see it unless you highlight it. Next time I notice it I will post about it. -
Grounded Extension Cord?
BluedogGMC replied to thatryan's topic in Product Polls, Feedback, and Company Input
This is the only way to get a good check to see if you have them. They can be connected in series but sometime they fail so checking them with the tester linked above every now and then can save a life. A GFCI will sense an electrical short way faster then a regular breaker can. -

bottle labels for mounted rack

You can get bumper sticker stock for your home printer then just print out a 4" picture of the bottle from the Adams site then stick on the holder. -
Don't forget to spray yourself down with Detail Spray first.

Thats what I was offering also... I have 2 1/2 gal. of it so i thought I could get rid off one.

FROZEN GEAR
BluedogGMC replied to SuperSnake850's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
This is what I do Dylan, It's just that my truck is black and I am on the beach a lot (surf-fishing) and it gets really hot in it sometimes. I try not to leave it in there any longer then I have to. I use it almost all the time just as I come off the beach to clean the windows from the salt spray that even gets on the glass inside of my truck. No big deal, that's why I just have the 4oz. bottle. If it changes and go's bad I just refill. Thanks for the info. -

BluedogGMC replied to SuperSnake850's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
Thanks for the replies guys. Yes I did just get rid of the older stuff being that it was just 4oz. but was just wondering about the heat effect. It did seem to not feel the same when I used it. Almost like the eveaporation rate was slower and seemed to leave more streaking almost like I was using a dirty towel which I was not. -

BluedogGMC replied to SuperSnake850's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
Not to jump a post but while we are talking cold and heat, Does the heat effect the Adams Glass Cleaner? It seem that when I leave my 4oz. bottle in the truck in the summer it turns to a milky white color. Does this effect it's cleaning ability? I take everything out of the truck in the cold months. -

I know Dell service can be a pain but I find if there is anything you need done going thru chat on their website seems to work a lot better. I had a problem with my Dell Venue 11 Pro Tablet and chatted with a guy on the site and the next day there was a technician at my house for warranty work. Also Windows 8.1 is a great OS. If you are going by the early reports of Windows 8 not being at all like Windows 7 after the update to 8.1 you can still have the same type of desktop as Windows 7. Also if you have Windows 8.1 on all of your systems if you want you can have them connect to each other and they will automatically always update to work the same on all of your systems. After about a month of using Windows 8 and when I go back to Windows 7 I feel a little lost. You can have problems with all of the manufacturers so I like the Dells and HP's for portable type systems. The one thing about Mac is your programs that you already have. Will they run on that system. Nothing wrong with Mac's it's just that they are so proprietary I cannot work on them as well as working on other systems as far as upgrading and replacing my own parts out of warrant. Plus they charge you an arm and a leg for service. JMO

NEW! Pump for all "cream" products
BluedogGMC replied to Team Adam's's topic in Company Info/Announcements
Are the other caps going to go into the clearance area? Seems like a great idea but for the Buttery I think I might still like the pop up type. But for the other products this seems like it's a perfect fit. -
Welcome Back Dylan! Glad to hear the great news. That video ROCKS!!! So when will the next DVD come out staring DVK?

APC Sprayer Bottle
BluedogGMC replied to PacificNWBuckeye's topic in Product Polls, Feedback, and Company Input
I have not had a problem with any leakage until just in the last two weeks. I have plenty of APC (about 3 gal.) and also four 16oz. bottles which three were still new as I was re-filling the same 16oz. bottle that I used all the time. Well a few weeks ago I picked up one of the new 16oz. bottles and noticed it was not full. Then I seen were it ran down the back of the shelf it was sitting on in my basement. Checked bottle and it has a leak somewhere but I cannot actually see where it is coming from. Also checked the other bottles in my supplies and found one of the other APC bottles just leaking a little bit. Seems to be by the seem. All of the other bottles of product are fine. Is it something in the APC that is eating the plastic? The gallon jugs do not seem to be made out of the same plastic and so far no leaks in them. Maybe making the APC 16oz, bottles out of a different material might help. Just my 2 cents. -
Adams Volume 9 DVD
BluedogGMC replied to BluedogGMC's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
I was thinking the same thing but they were available on the site and youtube before. Sometimes it's good to just give someone the DVD to show them what the products can do. Of course now I guess you just point them to the web site to get the same info.
