  1. What John said exactly... I take it you do have leather seats?
  2. I would think the best would be the Wheel Woolie for this style rim. I have the set of three Wheel Woolies and one of them should be the right size for this.
  3. If they are like the ones on eBay then I would think it just started to dry. It can start to dry while still having wet around it and will streak. It is basically the dirt just drying to the wheel. If it is just painted and maybe clear coated you should get some Adams Green Wheel Cleaner but at the moment it is not on the site so maybe they discontinued that. Since you have them clean now I would mix up a bottle of about 2oz. of Adams Car Shampoo and water in a spray bottle and use that to spray on them to clean next time.
  4. I would hit it again and check a smaller spot until it feels right. Is it the newer Blue Clay or the older Grey Clay?
  5. I just hope by the time I get to use my new blue one it is still OK to use. Too cold out there now for me. I don't have a garage so I have to wait to use it.
  6. I would add that if you are going to clay you do not have to dry. Just go right from wash to claying with detail spray as a lube.
  7. That is a Sweeeeeett ride!
  8. I was also wondering if some small dyed area on a corner of the towel would effect it.
  9. If you are thinking about a new one let me know what you want for your black one? If you get it right from Adams you can always use the forum code "SHINEON" for 10% off.
  10. Deffinetly a great video and I agree the split screens are a real plus. Nice work.
  11. I think that is where they have always come from. If I am not mistaking, they make the best Micro Fiber out there.
  12. I got this off of the net. "OEM Chrome Clad Wheels. Chrome clad can be described as a wheel that has a chromed stainless steel or plastic fascia that is permanently attached to a steel or alloy wheel. Once the wheel fascia is damaged, it is nearly impossible to repair."
  13. Colder air and less humid (drier air) makes static stronger.
  14. I always hang dry mine. I use the cheap hangers that you get with clothes that have the pinch clips on them to hold the towles then I just hang them on a closet rod that I have hanging in my basement. They look like this and work great, plus they were FREE.
  15. The Blaster Sidekick would be on my list. Just in case someone out there wants to send me one..... I know Adams has my address to send it to me from you. .
  16. Customer Service is SECOND TO NONE!!! Even thou Jeff has not even responded to the post since he posted it and still get's GREAT customer service. Three cheers for Dan and the Adams crew.
  17. One other major question.... Did you drop your clay bar on the ground????
  18. You keep saying that only Adams products have touched it. What towels are you using? I would think you had something in your towel that caused all of this. Was it all smooth after you polished? Did you check it out real good with a light or in the sun after you polished. To me it just looks like when you (or someone else) wiped the car down there was a foreign mater in your towel.
  19. That's a good idea that I think has been brought up before. A big problem is what color. Maybe a light blue or something like it would be able to be seen on most colors except light blue cars and trucks. It would not even have to change it could start out that way. I know even with wax turning white I can still miss small spots sometimes. Right there with you on the eyes. Was always 20/15 (better then avg.) in both eyes and now at 56 that has all changed. Lol.
  20. I was just looking at the Brilliant Glaze page and this is what it says about applying. " Now we've released its replacement... Adam's ALL NEW Brilliant Glaze and its easier, faster, and better than ever! Simply pour a small amount of Adam's Brilliant Glaze onto one of Adam's Blue Microfiber Applicator Pads or Adam's Brilliant Glaze Machine Pad. Apply to freshly cleaned and/or polished paint, glass, chrome, or aluminum. Allow a few moments to haze then buff away the residue by hand using one of our Adam's Double Soft Microfiber Towels. We've improved the drying time - This product cures quickly, meaning less time waiting for it to haze up and more time spent admiring that shine!! "
  21. I don't use the handle, i feel it gets in the way. It's not like a rotary buffer where you have a harder time controlling the PC. As for the pads, if your truck is not that bad you can most likely be able to do the whole truck with one white pad. I would think one black/grey pad with the sealant would work also. You don't need much sealant to spread around. It go's a long way. Washing before could go either way. I like to at least rinse but more guys will chime in on that.
  22. I have a high iron count in my well water at my beach house and I am not aware of a common filter that gets rid if the iron. It has to be solidified before it can be filtered. Just a thought...
