  1. Almost looks like bird droppings that eat through as etching. Is that primer showing or maybe etching in the clear coat? I would try clay bar then Revive polish first and if it starts to come up then maybe use a PC or Flex with paint correcting polish and see what that does.
  2. I have found it is not shiny like that other product that is suppose to condition leather. A satin finish is not a shiny finish per say, it is just a hair bit shinier then flat or matt. I prefer the non-shiny on my black leather. I think when it shines it looks more fake but that just my preference.
  3. I have done it outside but I tried to get my truck in the shade even before I started so the body was not that warm.
  4. Is the Adam's 20" Fender Brush still the preferred brush for the engine bay area? Will it scratch anything or should I use my Adams Red bristle brush?
  5. Is that a 914 on the left? My brother had a white one and it was a blast to drive.
  6. This is what I did to my Black Sierra. Washed, Clayed using Detail Spray as the lubricant then washed again then dried with H2O GG.
  7. Same here, If I am not using H2O I always use Detail spray before drying. As soon as I stop rinsing and doing a run off with the hose I spray the whole truck with Detail spray to stop water spots. It neutralizes the water to help prevent the spots plus it seems to help shed water off of the paint.
  8. Lookin good, I thought I would have done mine this past weekend but had other things I had to do. Now it looks like at least another two weeks or more for me.
  9. Whatever you use I would do a test spot just to make sure the colors don't fade or run first. They did not use color fast colors back then. You might try White Vinegar to kill the mold and it might clean it some. Then I would try All Purpose Cleaner but like I said try a small spot first. LOL. I must have been typing while mc2hill was typing.
  10. It will most likely be turned over to USPS to be delivered. This shipping always seems to go the farthest routes for no reason. Adams just started using this type of delivery a short while ago.
  11. Man, that rub almost makes me want to wish for a cloud burst to open up. Lol. As they say, If you don't like the weather in Florida, Wait a minute it'll change.
  12. If the same spots come back after a day or two try Revive on them. Worked very well on my truck with hard water spots.
  13. For now in the cold I would just do a good wash and then use H2O GG until spring.
  14. For this winter I would just wash, clay and use the H2O GG then in the spring do a very good seal and protect. As far as the frame goes, if it is like the GM trucks it is coated with a wax like stuff that might or might not stay on that good so keep an eye on it if that is what you have. I got my new Sierra in October and that is what I did plus when I had a warm day I threw a coat of Buttery on it. Planning on a full paint correction in the spring, not that it's bad but after using the PC on it I know it will look better.
  15. Welcome to the addiction. Adams customer service is the best you will ever deal with. And their products are exceptional. If you ever have any questions about any product or what or how to do with detailing all you have to do is ask on the forum, email customer service or better yet give them a call and as you already found out you won't be disappointed.
  16. A decent Fire Hose nozzle that was moderately priced would be great. Could even be nylon or plastic as long as it worked well and lasted a while. But the brass would be the best.
  17. I don't know if your state is any different then mine (Delaware) but you should contact your insurance co. They should take care of it and they will go after his insurance to reclaim their money. If not then I think it's time for a different insurance co.
  18. Agree also with Rich, I would let your insurance look at it also as is and then tell them you are going to wash it and look for more damage and let them know what you see afterwards. I had a little girl (about 4yrs old) throwing rocks and broke my windshield and had it fixed thru insurance and they used Safelite and they did a fantastic job. If you want they will even do it at your house or wherever you want. Luckily it did not hit anything else. Also I had a small root/stump fall off of a landscapers truck doing 70mph and it hit right in front of my windshield wipers and left a rub mark on my hood but Adam's Paint Finishing Polish and a white 4" pad on my cordless drill worked wonders.
  19. You can set up the "A" like this. http://mobile-pixels.com/pin-webapp-website-android-homescreen/
  20. I do the same as Josh above. It keeps you from looking though all the forum areas that don't have any updates. As for the App, With today's newer HTML coding for websites I think sites like Adams are just going to stay the way they are. When sites are built right they automatically change sizes to match PC, Tablets and Mobile Phones. As long as they were set up that way. And as for the Mystery Boxes, They have it on the forum and Facebook now so other then sending out emails you just have to check the sites. I think they want it this way, it keeps people coming back and as far as I am concerned it puts a little fun into it.
  21. If every business in this country had service like Adams Polishes we would not need the Better Business Bureau. :bravo:
  22. I have even had products from other stores (Sears, Jet.com, ect.) that have gone Smart Post and trying to track the packages is almost impossible. It always says it is going to be delivered one day and it changes a couple of times before you get it. I have even had a package sit at a "hub" for three days before it went back out and also have had a package coming from Chicago to me in Delaware and it went to Alabama first. It is not the way to get anything quick. This does seem to show up a lot more on sites where they give "Free" shipping.
  23. I love the Hex Grip Applicator for tires. As for the foam block I had two of the foam 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" foam strip made for around air conditioners (from Lowes) sitting in the basement so I just cut two pieces off of it to use with the SVRT and when they start to wear out I just cut off another piece.
  24. Nick, Just in time.... It looks like the "Mystery Boxes" are coming back. Time to get addicted!!!
