Just a tiny bit of difference in a 125,000 ZR1 and a 20 dollar bottle of detail spray. IM DONE ! No hard on this end either.Wow. It's a thread discussing the new paint correction system, what should you like us to discuss? If you go to harbor freight then your not purchasing from Adams, therefore not relevant to this particular conversation. No one acted childish, everyone is simply stating their opinions, guesses and reasons as to what the next machine may be.
And let us know when Chevy offers a 110% satisfaction guarantee on ZR1s, Ill be the first in line. The point is they can't guarantee satisfaction and back it monetarily on a machine unless a novice can use it safely the very first time he turns it on. No arguments or hard feelings are necessary...

When GM sells a ZR1 vette to a customer do you really think they care if he knows how to drive it safely,,,, I doubt it seriously,,,,, they only care that the check is good !!I think some people know more about Adams business than he does himself. I don't understand, I could care less whether he starts to sell a rotary or not. So what, what's the big deal whether he does or not. People purchase the things they want. I personally love the flex, however if I choose to go to harbor freight and buy a rotary for 6 dollars I should not have to listen to all of this childish mess. Have fun with what you like. I really don't understand. You would think Adam is going exclusively with a 5000 rpm rotary and discontinuing all other machines.

People are afraid because they can't predict the unknown. First you are afraid of the pc, then you are afraid of the flex, then you are afraid of the rotary. Take an old truck that no one cares about, get a rotary and keep rpms approx 1500 and have your self a good time. Hold it in one spot until you burn through the clear. Feel and notice exactly what it takes to burn through. Continue to buff for a few hours. After this you will no longer be afraid of the dreadful rotary that has many people thinking of all this catastrophic damage that could possibly destroy your car and perhaps your life. At 1500 to 2000 it is a wonderful tool. Don't knock any of them. Take on the challenge, love and enjoy them all. Kevin is a big time rotary man. This weekend he spent a lot of time with a flex and was truely impressed, absolutely loved it. When left he walked over to his truck and handed me hie old rotary as a gift, which I was excited. Kevin said he was going to get him a flex ! He has a real nice rotary and a pc. He started applying glaze with his pc and guess what, you guessed it, now I have to get me a pc. Does a beautiful job of applying glaze plus 4inch focus pads. They are all wonderful tools. When you feel cocky and confident with the rotary,,,,,,, DON'T FORGET TO TAPE THE CORNERS !!!!!! You don't need a MBA or a PhD to learn these tools. If you can't use a rotary you should not drive a vehicle. Lol,,,,,,,,,,,

I have washed mine approx 10 times. So far still works amazingly well. If it starts to push water I will be sure to let y'all know.

I had a great time also. I was starting to get disgusted but you saved my day. Now I'm not afraid to take on any job. When you see something with your own 2 eyes it done. Now I have to say removing swirls is very easy when using the correct products. I'm 100 percent confident now and I thank you very much. Looking forward to the next meeting

no doubt great work, looks fantastic !!Looks great, nice work!

I will rhino line my roof before I 3 step all those ridges for a 100% swirl removal ,,,,,,, I guess I'm a bad person also. LolNope don't do it. Ill probably do it one day this summer, but that'll be the last time. Im really just doing it for the protection, not the shine.
When I waterless wash I don't even hit the roof. No one sees it.

Kevin, if possible to explain, how much faster is the rotary compared to a flex ?
-
Absolutely filthy had to intermittently hose it off. It was thick like mud. Threw clay in garbage !! Lots of funSolvent pop, little bubbles in the clearcoat that become pinholes after a while. Nothing you can do about it really.
Amazing before & after, how dirty was the clay when you were done with it??
-
all three steps after wash and clay. Hold about 8 pounds pressure polished up and across. If you look in the bright sun there is some specks, I have no idea what it is but absolutely no swirls. Old truck has not been washed in approx 10 yrs. just did it for fun,,,, probably increased value a bit. Ran flex on 6 for green and orange and 4 for the white pad. Had a bet with my son. He said daddy all your stuff works fine on something that already shines. He suggested old red a nd laughed. I got the last laugh !!! He just stood there with mouth wide open.Process? Polishes?

Dawn to the rescue.
Next up is to clay which I'll start soon, the finish is so darn rough.

They are 100% cotton, preshrunk.
I know it doesn't give you much to go on being we've never met, but a Large fits me perfect. I'm 6'2" and narrow build.
Thank you so much. 5/10 235. 2xx will be perfect !!

The new shirts? Cotton.
100% ?? It makes a difference in the size I order.
-
Are they 100% cotton or something else ?

I'd say go with the Flex then later get the PC with the 4" pads for the tighter areas. If you want to drive down one day you can try out both machines and see which one you like best.
That's it !!!!!!!! I am all FLEX 100 %, however I will get a pc for the 4 inch pads can beat the combo.
-
Corvettes have HARD clearcoats -- I used to have a 99 and it took me numerous tries with the PC to get it corrected to my liking. I'd skip the PC and jump right to the flex for your car/truck situation.
Don't ask any questions, absolutely unequivably buy the FLEX. END OF STORY. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT !

You know, in the context of car care, maybe I should stop saying "rinse and repeat." lol
Thanks for bringing that up.
As mentioned, I meant get your process down, and then apply it to the rest of the car.
Apply it to the rest of the car.... not as catchy as rinse and repeat. Oh well
I gotcha ! Thank y'all very much
-
Thanks , I think I got it. Ready to try again !!!! Excited !
-
Yeah, but here's the thing:
Get one 2 x 2 area to a level that you love. Once you get it there, just rinse and repeat.
So try the next step and continue on and make sure you get that area as good as you want it.
Then, do the entire car.
I hate to ask all these stupid questions, but what do u mean when you say rinse.

If this is micromarring should I go to the next step at that time ?
