  1. Oh and the steps should be: 2 bucket wash claybar polish seal glaze wax After polishing, to protect your paint, you will use either sealant or wax to protect your paint. You could use just one of them or you can use both(sealing first and then waxing after).. Sealant will last longer then wax will and glazing is just used to give your paint a little more "pop". I hope this makes sense and if not either myself or someone else can try and explain it better. Nice car by the way, love the color
  2. A great place to start is watching the videos that they provide. It will give you a nice breakdown of what each thing does, a little info on how to use it, a demonstration of the product being used, ect. Paint correcting and finishing polish is used with a machine polisher(flex, porter cable, ect) and polishing pads(foam or microfiber) and is used to remove any swirls in your paint. The way to tell if your bmw has any is to look at the paint in the light and most likely you will see little scratches that are in a circle. Polishing comes after you wash and claybar your entire car. Claybar should be used before because your paint will have contaminants on it that you will most likely not be able to visibly see but can feel if you do the baggy test. (Put a plastic thin zip lock bag on your hand and rub your paint, you will be able to feel how rough it is) As far as the cyclo, you will not hurt your paint using it ever(someone can correct me if I am wrong) and yes the liquid paint sealant and the buttery wax can be applied with the cyclo if you get the gray sealant and waxing pad. I would suggest you get a seperate pad for each product though. If I am wrong on any of this info then someone please feel free to correct me! I am by no means a expert and just repeating what I have picked up from countless hours on this thread
  3. I just talked to them today about the borderless blue towels not being on the site anymore and I was told that they were on back order and will return in a week in a half to two weeks. I was also told that the single soft towels are going to be discontinued because their supplier can not keep up with the demand and they are going to come out with a new towel to replace the old single softs!
  4. Are the new borderless blue towels gone or are they just currently out of stock? I dont see them on the website anymore and I was just about to pick some up
  5. Perfect thank you for clearing this up for me! I was just confused and wanted to make sure I was using the product correct to get the best results! Absolutely loving all my Adams products so far and have become addicted since my first products came to me at christmas! lol
  6. So I have seen on the videos that brilliant glaze is applied with a applicator but I have read on here that some people use a sprayer to spray it on and I even saw a video on youtube of it being sprayed on. Can you apply it both ways or can you only apply it on a applicator pad? Also is one way better than the other on how you apply it? Thanks for clearing it up! Mike
  7. I finally got some for Christmas and I will never go back to using store bought towels on my car. There is no comparison between adams towels and store bought towels
  8. Alright thanks guys, I was just wondering since none of my other adams products separated like that.
  9. Is this normal? Both of these were bought recently, stored inside my house, and have not been used. I have shaken them both up but they will go back to looking like this after a while. This is after sitting for the night without being shaken up.(sorry for the sideways pic, I dont know how to fix it)
  10. I ended up doing two passes with the white pad just too be sure on the hood and roof of my car where there was egg but other than that nothing was damaged thankfully
  11. Alright so luckily last night and this morning it was raining so we have no sun today and my car was wet when whoever threw eggs at my car. I went out and did a complete strip was of the car, dried it, and now it is in the garage about to have sealant and wax put on it. Thanks for the help!
  12. So someone decided it would be a great idea to egg my car last night, what is the best way to get egg off of a car?
  13. This may be a dumb question but it is better to put two coats of wax on a car or just one? All it would really do is just add more protection right? Help me out a little fellas!
  14. Yup huntley illinois, and damn you are like ten minutes away from me! I think I will end up getting the bundle to start off with and some waterless wash towels
  15. So I have a birthday coming up soon and want to get some microfiber towels along with other things. What kinds of microfiber towels do you suggest and how many of them? If it helps I have a 2004 pontiac grand prix. Thanks!
  16. Have you used the nanoskin? Apparently it is supposed to be pretty good.
  17. Have any of you guys used the nanoskin autoscrub in place of clay? If so which would you prefer to use? I am thinking of getting one since I just got a PC and a nice collection of adams products to go along with it! Any feedback on this is greatly appreciated!
  18. Alright so when the weather gets nice again I am planing on doing a full detail to my 04 grand prix. My question is, what steps from start to finish do you do to complete a full detail? I have seen the detailing videos so should I just follow that order or is there a better order that you guys have found? Thanks for the advice!
