  1. One on the left is the newest? I think you have that mixed up. I just got my glass cleaner about a month ago tops and it looks like the one in the middle. Jim says in the post that middle is his newest glass cleaner. Correct me if I am wrong here!
  2. Dylan, do you guys have any plans on maybe making those two products easier to differentiate from in the future? Those two products, the leather and interior conditioner and paint correcting polish are hard to tell apart without reading the bottle. I haven't personally had any issue with getting them confused but am just wondering since you guys are switching to a color coded system.
  3. No, total interior detailer and glass cleaner are basically the same exact color. The old stuff was more of an actual green and smelled like apples if I remember correctly where the new stuff is like a pale green and smells like lime.(Not very strong). Total interior detailer is basically the same color(I can not really tell a difference to be honest) and smells like baby powder. There is an easy distinction between the two smells.
  4. I am going to tomorrow when I use the paint finishing polish, I was just curious if others were as pleased with the paint correcting polish finishing down as I was.
  5. On my grand prix I got poor results when using foam, Other cars I would use foam with, my clear coat just didn't didn't get the results I liked with foam.
  6. Tomorrow I am going to hit it with white microfiber and paint finishing polish to see the difference. I was just so surprised at how well it finished down compared to meguires 105 I was using in the past.
  7. So I started polishing my grand prix today and was using paint correcting polish and the orange microfiber pad. This is my first time using adams actual polishes but has anyone had such good results with paint correcting polish and orange pad that they left it like that? I haven't brought the car out in the sun to truly see what or if any swirls are still left in the parts that I have polished but from what I can tell with my garage lighting and LED bar that I have the paint looks damn near perfect. At this point if the paint is perfect with this combo, would the white pad and polish add any more significant shine? Thanks for the help.
  8. Looks like clear coat failure to me. Has the roof ever been resprayed or is it left out in the sun a lot? Do you take care of your hood with wax or sealant?
  9. I was about to say the same exact thing
  10. I throw all m towels together in the same load and haven't come across any issues
  11. My only suggestion would be to get some type of rubber to put on the edges of the cart if you are wheeling it around your cars. Just in case it were to ever bump them.
  12. Was thinking today and can this brush also be used to clean rubber floor mats? I know there is the cockpit brush that would be better suited for this probably but didnt know if there is any harm in using the wheel brush. Thanks for the help!
  13. Personally, I would still polish it to make the paint pop and also maybe spray deep wheel cleaner or a product designed to get iron off the paint. Just how I would was my new vette
  14. Most will tell you to seal first but I always glaze first. It is a solvent so it will take away oils on your paint plus it has fillers in it so it will make any imperfection less noticeable. I glaze first because glaze is taken off very easily and I would rather protect it and make it last longer than having it washed away. Also glaze does not effect the sealant sealing to the car and has no effect on the longevity of the sealant so to me it only makes sense to glaze first if you are going to use it.
  15. I messaged you but am hoping to have an even trade. Still up for grabs if someone wants it.
  16. Looking for anything but some APC would be nice.
  17. I just received a gallon of detail spray in my mystery box and dont think I will use it in time since I already have another gallon waiting to be used so if anyone would like to trade, let me know what you have!
  18. I tried looking online but haven't been able to find anything about how much product the pump dispenses. Just thinking for car shampoo mainly but is one pump one oz of product?
  19. I say go for it. I always use brilliant glaze after polish and before wax/sealant. To me it makes more sense that a product with fillers in it goes before wax/sealant so it is actually useful, protected, and does not wash away with your next wash or the first time it gets dirty. Just my two cents though, either way works!
  20. I have a few sets of pads for these occasions but if I were you and you are doing a 2 step process than I would try to do the compounding today so you can wash those pads and then finish with polishing tomorrow. You don't really want to let polish dry on the pads.
  21. You used a compound to get the swirls out of your paint and like most compounds, it left small minor marks in the clear coat because of the cut. To get these out you need a finishing polish. Since you came to adams website I would recommend Adams paint finishing polish http://www.adamspolishes.com/p-943-adams-paint-finishing-polish.aspx Hope this helps!
  22. Machine polishing will *USUALLY* give you better results(need to make sure you have the proper technique), less stress on muscles and joints, and is usually a little faster to do. They are not a necessity, but if you want your paint to look the best it can be then I would suggest getting one. From everything I read on here the flex is a great machine, I can not vouch for it though as I have only used a PC. Good luck if you decide to go with a machine and remember to post pics when you are done!
  23. I had the same thing happen to me a few weeks ago and it went from the front of my car all the way to my trunk. I took it to my local coin op and pressure washed it off as much as I could and then I used the regular two bucket wash method and washed my whole car. Took it all off and no damage was made from what I can tell. Just make sure you rinse out the wash mitt after you go over an area with the paint on it
