  1. Not true^. As Adam said, it doesn't matter or effect the performance of any products if you glaze first. So really it doesn't matter if you glaze, seal, then wax or if you seal, glaze, then wax. Both cases have a argument as to which is better but it is all about preference.
  2. Most people seem to e a fan of detail spray but it is not the best in my opinion. I love the car shampoo and brilliant glaze!
  3. Well brilliant glaze has filling properties in it. In my mind, having the filing properties go directly into any defects is better then having them go into the defect after it has been covered with sealant. Also then you have sealant protecting your glaze
  4. Oh perfect so I just misunderstood, thanks for clearing that up for me Adam! Always good to hear from the man in charge!
  5. Can anyone tell me why we are supposed to use brilliant glaze after we seal our cars instead of before? I know other companies out there say to glaze before they seal so I am just wondering why Adams is different. I would think since Brilliant glaze has filling properties you would want to use it before you sealed the car. Thanks for the help in advance!
  6. Right now I am using the mini americana applicators, not too sure if you can but it seems to work fine for me
  7. I personally just fold mine into 4ths and then put them away in my tubs, Doesn't make a difference though so fold them however you want!
  8. That is how my grand prix's headlights were, personally I would sand them because that is what worked best for me but if you can get away with only polish than that would be best. Good luck and post some results!
  9. Looks amazing and I am not usually a fan of gt500's! Awesome work
  10. I see you have a grand prix like I do so I would suggest the microfiber pads. My clear coat is basically a rock and takes forever to correct with the foam pads, microfiber works well for me and gives my car a nice finish.
  11. Yeah I already bought the replacement. I was just looking to protect this one from getting destroyed as well haha
  12. Seems like you have everything in the right order. As for the quick sealant or liquid sealant, it is your choice! Liquid may last a little bit longer and give a little bit more of a shine but quick sealant is extremely quick and easy to apply. With that being said though, liquid paint sealant is really quick and easy to apply as well. My personal preference is to use liquid paint sealant but I have not actually used quick sealant. Good luck and remember to post pictures!
  13. My grand prix has started to do this as well in some spots but it is just where it was repainted from the kid before me who owned it and crashed it. Sad that it was cheaply fixed but something I am going to look at getting repainted asap so it doesn't start rusting
  14. The car is garage kept 90% of the time now but the owner before me always kept it outside, looks like I will just use the conditioner on the new plastic. Thanks guys!
  15. I don't have leather in my car but my dash has cracked 4 times from the abuse of the sun over the years(I have a 04 pontiac grand prix) and thought the conditioner may help save the plastic from cracking. So pretty much it is just wasting product to use both and I should stick to one or the other huh?
  16. What is everyones thoughts on using total interior detailer and then leather and interior conditioner after? Is that wasting product or is that good for cleaning and then conditioning? Thanks in advance, Mike
  17. That is what I was saying, the paste wax will last longer! Or am I missing what you are saying and this isn't always true?
  18. All of us here on the forum always back Adams for a few reasons. Their customer service is absolutely amazing and are always willing to help and put the customer first, their products are extremely easy to use and produce amazing results, and they are backed by a 110% guarantee so if you don't like the product then you can send it back no questions asked and get a little extra for the trouble. Personally I have just started using Adams products and I use them for all of the reasons I just said plus the fact that they have one product for each job and are not like some companies who make things confusing by putting out 4 or so products for the same thing. In my opinion that is confusing and makes me wonder about the quality of the product if it takes them so many products to get one job done. Another reason why I stay with Adams is because of this forum. People are always willing to help out with any issues you have and are always willing to share their input on things. Really the products will sell themselves once you try them and everything else is just a bonus, that is how I look at it. As for your question about the wax, if I recall correctly the paste wax will last longer then liquid wax will but I could be wrong at that so anyone can correct me if I am wrong!
  19. I have waterless wash, green wheel cleaner, brilliant glaze, and also total interior detailer. Let me know if anything interests you
  20. I am so jealous right now, that is a beautiful car! Also nice work!
  21. Sealant is just another way to protect your paint like wax, the only difference is that sealant lasts about twice as long as wax does. So really you're not skipping the sealant step, you are just choosing not to use it
