2006 Sierra. I did this customers Yukon last year as well. This time he wanted his Sierra buttered up. Its his daily driver so as you could imagine there was quite a bit of contaminants and some refinery fall out from around the area. This truck already came in great shape so there wasnt a huge correction to be had. Thus why we went with one step this time, worked perfectly and corrected back to 75-80%. This turned out great and its really tough to show the pop of white but this really did look dripping. Hope you enjoy. Another water free detail, clocked myself at 4:56 duration on this one. Pictures are before/during/after: 50/50

MTM Hydro foam cannon- problem
LTDSC replied to 03blackSSS's question in Washing, Drying, and Decontamination
thats odd, i've had mine for a year or so and hadnt had that issue yet. I wonder if your knobs adjust when you put them away? Do you get any change if you adjust as you shoot? -
nice turn around! Interior looks close to new now. He must drive down dirt roads with the windows down often.

I only use rinsless wash now. Once a week and it takes less time than a full wash. Theres really no need to do a full wash unless its past the point of being able to be rinseless washed. Plus CA drought hit and i still want to keep it clean.

thanks everyone! This was the biggest one i've ever done. ive always had to get a stool to sit on, this one i needed a step ladder! it was a lot of fun and the turn around was great. heres a 50/50 on the gate to show how terrible the paint was.

This customer wanted me to polish his paint and get the most defects out as i could as he was putting an exo-cage on this coming week. I honestly have never seen paint as hammered as this. There were tons of trail rash as you can see in the pictures. Lots of deep scratches with a lot of thin ones as well. He also just ran the Rubicon so i was up to a pretty heavy task. Owner did not want to have me touch the windows because he honestly didnt care. He didnt want me to touch the undercarriage nor the tires but i couldnt resist. I had to go through a few different products and pads before i finally found one that worked for this paint and situation. This was also the first detail ive done while "mobile". What a pain, i dont know how others can do it, i much prefer home field advantage. This one took roughly 5 hours to complete. Pics:

I liked the wedge a lot. Very light and it cleaned really good. I felt like it would break on me quickly though. Hopefully that's not the case because I enjoyed using it.

Had this one come to me in pretty rough shape. Wanted a polish, interior cleaning. Strip Wash Clay AIO Polish Sealant Tire Dressing Under Carriage spray In N Out spray for plastics On to the pics! Before: After: It was a nice turn around. I fixed my SLR so these were all from my phone because my battery is dead on the camera. No interior shots as it was just a typical vacuum and wipe down.

Had someone who wanted to strip whatever they put on at the dealership and clay, seal and clean the interior as they have a baby and it was pretty dirty. I didn't have any before pics because he showed up a little late and its a year old so it wasn't in terrible shape to begin with. He washes it himself and has decent OTC stuff. I started off with a strip wash, leading to the tires and wheels being APC cleaned and scrubbed. Moved on the the paint with a standard 2 bucket wash with strip wash soap. Surprisingly this thing was pretty dirty and the water was very dark afterwords. The customer didn't want a polish nor cared about correction so i clayed the paint and wheels along with the windows. Once cleaned off the paint i threw on a sealant and topped that with a glaze/wax. Left a very nice finish even though i was fighting with pollen all day long. The tree out front was dropping pollen balls and blowing it all over the car every time i wiped it off. The small blower was my friends today. I moved on to the inside, vacuuming and then dressing the dash, seats and then door panels. Finished it off with cleaning the glass. once the interior was tip top i moved to dress the tires trim and grille plastics. Nothing crazy, nor a huge turn around. Cleaned and protected. Customer was very happy and lined up his wife's car for a future date.
