  1. I guess my real question is can I do 3 of each wipes per car or do I need 4 of each wipe per car. Sounds like I need 4 unless I have 2 people applying it at one time
  2. ok so I will buy 1 kit which should do 1 entire car/SUV. How many more A and B wipes will I need to do the rest of the car? I am guessing 4 of each to do each car. 1 (A&B) for the windshield, 1 for the rear, and 1 for each side windows.
  3. So I am planning on doing 4 cars with the ceramic glass coating. I will do 2 SUVs 1 2 door car and one 4 door car. I was going to buy 1 full vehicle kit and then purchase the wipes separate instead of buying 4 kits. My question is do I really need 4 of each part (A and B ) or can I get away with 3 on the cars? I also have some ceramic surface prep from the car kit, would that work?
  4. Ok so I finished up and all I can say is that it is not worth it at all. I see very little difference. I am not going to post the video. If you want to see it send me a message and I will text it to you. Warning it's not worth it. Lesson learned: save this stuff for the car. I might try the shower glass and the granite counter top though.
  5. Yup, I have some of that as well. Thanks for the reminder.
  6. I have Adam's Tire shine and one other company. I was thinking of adding VRT, which I don't have, and maybe 2 or 3 others to show how much better Adam's is compared to others. I know this has probably been done but I wanted to do it as well. Anyone have any recommendations?
  7. Ok i started the process. I started with old sneakers. I cleaned them first then applied the ceramic spray. I used a lot. I then let it sit for about 2 minutes them wiped it down with a cloth. First pic is the before. 2nd pic is the old sneakers compared to the new ones that I will do later. 3rd is with the ceramic spray drying on it. I will let them sit overnight and then see how they do tomorrow night when I get home from work. I will say this, the ceramic spray worked on my drive way.
  8. I am trying to find a 3 day weekend that I can do it. I have everything I need. Now, just need the time.
  9. Yo-Yo Ma's Cousin this is a great write up! I can't see the videos but it could be because of my work computer. My order will arrive on Saturday. Unfortunately, I will be in VA beach I will try this on my all white Nikes which are brand new and then on a different pair that need to be cleaned. I will take videos and do a write up but it may take me a week or two.
  10. Thanks! I'll try that first. Might be cheaper than buying 2 pens. I'll definitely stay away from sharpies

    Fabric Pens

Has anyone used a fabric pen before? Want to see if they really hold up and any recommendations on which ones to use. I have an embroidered seat and the stitching has faded over the years. I have tried cleaning it but no luck. Was thinking of using a fabric pen or maybe even a Sharpie. Any advice?
  12. Great! I can't wait for the updates.
  13. http://www.msn.com/en-us/health/wellness/your-car-is-dirtier-than-you-think-heres-why/ar-AAFLdB7?ocid=ientp 32% only clean their car 1 time a year 12% have never cleaned their car Some other interesting stuff in there.
  14. So I ordered come ceramic spray. Any advice on how to use it on the shoes? Shoes are leather and plastic.
  15. Yeah I figured that is what it was. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing anything wrong.
  16. Well I don't get to drive/wash the racecar often but got an opportunity last Saturday and took advantage. I have a huge problem with getting Adam's products and not using them because they are so nice, specifically towels. Well I tried to snap that habit. I used the silk glass towels and they are amazing! I have used the green and blue glass towels but the silk is a step above. I was amazed how well they worked. I have a few other Adam's glass towels to try next. I have been using the pressure washer and Mega Foam but I can get the foam to stick to the car as well as I would like. I've attached some pictures. Even had a little helper out there with me Enjoy!
  17. I am going to order the ceramic spray in a few days. I will let you guys know how it works.
  18. Well I am glad that I am not the only one who was thinking this. I was also thinking about ceramic spray. Figured they are leather so couldn't hurt. Plus the laces are fabric so should work there also. Might order some and try it on an old pair first.
  19. Anyone tried this yet? If so which product did you use? Spray, paint, trim? I just bought a nice pair of white Nike Air Max's and want them looking good for a long time.
  20. I use a leaf blower then follow it up with a wipe down with detail spray.
  21. Ok cool. So a little bit of rain won't hurt.
  22. SO I have been kicking around the idea of a new (used) car. I really love the CTS V and V sport. My question is that my car will be driven daily so the doors/seats will get wet. How bad is it for alcantara to get wet?
  23. I tried nail polish remover, it didn't work. Thanks for the suggestion galaxy but I threw in the towel. She is just going to replace the windshield. I think RayS was right about what it was. It has just been on the glass for way too long.
  24. I will try that Rich. I cleaned the inside just to be sure
