Seth, I just sold my Impala SS. It was an excellent car. But the new one didn't change appearance enough to get me into another one, especially the interior. The base car is excellent though. There's a lot more power to it than you think, and the gas milage is great. My SS was a gas hog, but it was a good heavy solid car. Give the current Impala a test drive. I think you might be pleasantly surprised.

New Impala and Taurus got my eye right now. I wouldn't buy the Impala until the SS version comes out though.

Heck, my dream house is a 4 car garage with an open concept apartment above. Maybe a partial glass floor so I can look down at the cars.
