I did glaze first because when I called in.... thats what they told me to do???????

OK, so once I am done with the truck.... complete detail. wash ,clay, polish, glaze ,seal, Americana..... I don't drive a ton...( only 3000 miles since January and a bunch of that was to lift shops, dealer etc) Game plan is to detail spray for touch ups, Next full wash, dry and keep Americana fresh..... Is this correct thinking???? should I be re-glazing, sealing and waxing at the full washes???? over the glaze seal Americana on there already?

How New is "too New"
Truckie replied to Truckie's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
OK no one jumped on this.... It was a trick anyway..... the pics were taken after wash/ dry, claybar only.... been working away . trying to get it all complete.... maybe I will be finished tomorrow...... -
How about a black (or other popular trim colors) plastic Dye... like FOREVER BLACK or the gel form Bondo RESTORE BLACK.... An improved ADAMS version "of course" extra UV protectors, and maybe a version you don't have to be soooo careful with and mask every thing off. keeps black trim nice for over a year..... was even able to turn my daughters sport trac "Gray" bumpers and rockers Black for that murdered out look.... I can post pics if you want to see once I find them.... oh and worked miracles on the ChevySSR running boards that get notoriusly white when water sits on them....

A ton of work!!! I am STILL not done MY 4door F250...... hopefully tomorrow..... still gotta do P/S doors and then wax roof, seal rims, dress tires, plastics, and do the inside.... weather hasn't helped and lifted so won't fit in garage..... Sun came out today and products dried too quick on paint tons of dust and pad wear....... .. but making progress I gotta get back to working out.... thats easier..... If a full correction is $1000 for a big truck..... It would be more cost effective to get it CAMO wrapped.....

"Man that's a LOT of black!" Yes it is!!! but it is not just black.... they got smart and made it a tri color fleck black.... It really helps find the dirt that plain old black shows... Last new truck was black... I said never New and Never black again....... Now look at me..... Good thing I found Adams.... -

You are partially correct... I did not hit the trim yet or tires wheels.... I think you are seing the clouds that were moving in .... just the paint detail was worked on..... ************************************************************************************* As for the Vette wheels/Brakes... gonna do some sort of coated rotor when the brakes are ready and either replace or powdercoat or paint the calipers..... wheels either need to be replaced or re finished profressionally., $$$$.... but are good for now unless you get right up on them..... -

How New is "too New"
Truckie replied to Truckie's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
Giving it the "works" is the plan... first question.... filled old Gatorade bottle 1/8 full of DAWN( at work) and used it in a 5 gal bucket with a bit of Adams for froth.... washed it twice now.... Still beads like a MF.......... WHAT is going on?????? What could be on the truck standing up this Well... I bought and took delivery in about 6 hours at dealer... so got a poor clean up to begin with and the "FIX" guy used P&S cherry wet wax when I took it back to correct water spots ( probably just filled the defects), and I used Meguairs NXT 2.0 about a month after I owned it.... May just continue on and start with dry ,clay , Swirl haze instead of fine.... sea,l glaze Americana kinda frustrating -
Engine Detail
Truckie replied to BigRed2013's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
look in the video selections and watch them perfom one I didn't see alot of HOSE shyness.... Just don't do it with the vehicle running.. Adams doesn't have an interior engine detailer product YET -

Is there a different product to clan and protect/lookbetter If You have the "Fuzzy" sort of molded fiber material wheel wells as opposed to the smooth hard plastic kind.

2006 Vette Coupe... bare wheels or clearcoted wheels?
Truckie replied to Truckie's question in Wheels, Tires, Trim, & Undercarriage
Looks to me like Base corvette wheels and seem to have a coating... I really quickly did one yesterday with a Dnyocone and all 3 Adams polish steps and it helped then sealed it... IF I really spend time on each wheel they should be fine... Thanks -
Only works if it is a non shedding microfiber puppy....

2006 Vette Coupe... bare wheels or clearcoted wheels?
Truckie replied to Truckie's question in Wheels, Tires, Trim, & Undercarriage
So have I screwed the clear now? I had " another Vendors" medium cut, and finish polish and used the foam cone drill attachment..... I guess I will try the ADAMS clear coat polishes NEXT and see what that does... -
Is there a thread I missed explaining the forum upgrade.... It is already pretty good the way it is...
