BespokeCar Posted February 21, 2011 Share Posted February 21, 2011 If you want to wet sand, you need one. If you don't plan on wet sanding then you don't need one. It would be a nice tool to have. This one : http://www.eastwood.com/pro-gauge-ii-powder-and-paint-thickness-gauge.html shown in this video : gives you the impression that you get what you pay for.
