Cook
Pretty neglected and scratched. notice the bottom black (well..grey in this picture) trim. It appeared faded but it was actually just a low quality wax built up. it took A LOT of scrubbing with some APC to get it all off. I ran out of In and Out Spray for the bottom grille! mc2hill
Nice work on a nice car! I ran out of In and Out Spray for the bottom grille! In a pinch, try VRT and water (mixed about 2/3 VRT to 1/3 water) in a spray bottle. I used this when I&O was unavailable.

Mario Gambacortta
Awesome results! What were your steps to remove some of the scratches?
Cook
Awesome results! What were your steps to remove some of the scratches? depends on the severity of the scratch really. if they were real deep, but not through the paint, I would use a 4" yellow pad with a cutting polish, then 4" orange pad with a swirl remover, and 4" white pad with a finish polish. some other scratches just require a 5.5" pad (yellow/orange/white depending on the severity). I tend to like the 5.5" pad on speed 5 or 6 because i feel as though it removes the scratches easier.
