tigris1997
Could anybody tell me how to remove black scuff marks on the sill over the rocker panel on a Corvette C-5?

Redvenm
So the plastic is not scratched itself? That is how I understand. You are saying scratches and your title says scuff marks???? Some of the black marks came off? Did they get better with APC? Full strength? If the APC is what helped I would consider soaking a sponge or small cloth in APC and letting it sit on the mark for a bit. That might help loosen it up even more. Only concern there is if the APC would possibly discolor the plastic. Not sure if that is even possible tho we all know APC is pretty strong stuff. Others will chime in I am sure. Marylander
Those were a pain on my C5, too. I think I ended up having decent results with one of those magic eraser things, but test it in an inconspicuous spot first. Rich

Rich The wife let me have one of her Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Pads and with a lot of elbow grease they came off. I put a coat of VTR on and I hope that will take care of them for a while. Not hitting the sill with feet will help also!
