adamstothemax
Long story short, i had my dad wash/wax the car while i was gone. He used the revive hex grip to apply it by mistake. Its mildly abrasive no? So should prepare to see mild swirls everywhere now... ? i had just pc'd it to perfection...
0 Z71_Denali
actually, the blue hex grip is pretty soft, i just used it last night. but the americana hex grip is way softer! all depends on the car's color and how much pressure he applied to the pad! 0 Team Adam's
you might be OK... the blue foam is still really soft stuff, don't worry too much about it until you're sure it caused an issue.
0 Z71_Denali
this brings up a good point, all of the polishes and waxes are color coded to the proper pad except the APW. but i'd hate to see a pink lid on it to match the applicator a white americana hex pad paired with a white lid on the APW to match the white wax, would be nice
0 adamstothemax
Thanks for the quick replies guys... Ill wait to see if there is any damage.. It cant be too terrible. Id assume some FMP will get any probs out quick anyway. Its black btw. He said it came out amazing but we all know how deceiving paint can be when not under the proper lighting. 0 Bill-V8V
I did the same thing when cleaning up my truck, depending on the color I doubt you will see any damage, especially on a lighter color. But if it is a darker color you might see some but it probably won't be too bad at all.. an easy fix for FMP.
