I agree for a Hitachi, but 18-volt Li-Ion 3.0 Ah.

It's very great tools, check for model DS18DL. It's my drill and gresat for all work.

any 18v+ variable speed drill with a lithium ion battery will do! i have an older dewalt 18v that still used the NiCd battery and it will last about 30-45 minutes of constant use. the lithium ion batteries last longer and i believe charge faster too

Did you purchase a second battery for it? How long does it "really" last?

When I got it the kit included the drill, (2) LiIon slim batteries, charger, and case. So far I've never run the drill down completely in the course of a detail, so thats about all I know. The batteries seem to hold a charge forever.

Also, I like how the batteries are thin/light and the handle/battery itself is kicked back at an angle than other drills I've had. That way the butt of the thing doesn't come into play when working tight spots.
