Marylander
What's the best stuff to use to clean off a small area before going after a chip with touch-up paint? Obviously I want to get off all the wax and everything so that the touchup paint has a good surface to bond with.

Chris@Adams
Rich, I use isopropyl alcohol to wipe area down. If its just a chip I use Q tips! Did you get a toy to play with?

Yup, it's the MR2 in this pic. It's going to be my winter project... a little mechanical work, updating the suspension to make it a real handler, a little paint work (I want to learn how to paint stuff like bumpers, and this is my chance...), etc. And it's crying out for a rear spoiler, which I already have on the way.
